It will be interesting to see them try to get the correct pinion angle between transmission and differential.

Bolts are suspose to go down on the engine mount ,so if the nut falls off the bolt stays.

Hey Chad, just a third eye here, you may want to bolt in the trans mount instead of welding just in case you need to pull the trans later. if you weld the cross member (transmission mount) to the bottom of the chassis it will give you ample room for an angle iron plate for the rubber mount, if you mount it to the top it will limit your amount of travel (adjustment)

That trans tunnel is going to sure be high. If they lowered the engine they could run the driveshaft through where it’s built to. Then pinion angle will be correct. Plus wouldn’t have to cut into the frame like that and be less work in the end.

Where Chad was going to weld on to the frame next to the engine, fish plating would be the way to go the way they have it welded now. It would make it a whole bunch stronger. Just grind it and put the fish plate on the outside then do your work for custom look. You guys do a great job, love watching your videos

No one has mentioned the way the front suspension is "mounted." It is not an early 30's Mopar either. Front end looks like a late 40's Ford to me (wider axle then before 1942). Weren't 33 Mopars parallel springs?

If you weld the transmission mount onto the frame as you described, you may not be able to pull the transmission out (or Clutch) without pulling the engine.

He has not a clue how backwards this entire situation is being done. You can’t put an engine in a car correctly with proper angles with no suspension in place period!! If you do everything is off on the driveline angle. Build a freaking frame correct and paint it add the proper suspension front and rear and brakes. Then last thing he should be doing is setting the engine in and tilt it correctly for driveline angle. He is working ass backwards . No suspension no nothing with a half ass prep frame. Makes absolutely no sense
