I think this will always stay a (practical) toy for rich people traveling big distances. Would absolutely need the capability to lift vertically to make it an everyone-product. And autonomous operation would be good, I think a flying license is not as easy as a driver's license. And I AM a SciFi-Fan. But his looks impractical to me.
