I feel like what usually helps me get scared of vhs tapes is when one of the characters is speaking directly to the camera as if someone is there but me knowing damn well that their not gonna make it out of there most the time. great example of this is Jebediah I feel like he had actual personality and that’s what made me sad about him and many other people who had personality in tapes like This and having to listen to and watch them die (why am I acting like anyone is gonna read and see this)
