Regarding foot units not being hit by large splash attacks, I find it most usually when trying to run down fleeing enemies in campaign. It's why I love hound units so much - they're able to dish out their damage without knocking units over, so they can actually land their attacks properly.

The Necrosphinxes are pretty terrible at dealing with Repanse. With 67 MD the RoR sphinx hit less than 1/3rd of it's attacks (29%) while the non-RoR hits less than 1/5th (16%). On the charge those go up to 81% and 68% respectively, but the number of attacks made with CB against foot characters is pretty low from big beasties, partially due to knockdown but also due to the slow attack rate relative to CB up time. The number of attacks we saw land is pretty reasonable given the statlines of the unit, 67 MD is just really, really, really hard to get through.

Sphinxes missing Repanse so much is soul crushing. This game is so janky under the hood unfortunately. Also 99 leadership battle pilgrims lmao. I love it. Bretonnia may be bit OP now but whatever, they deserve the time under the sun.

All Constructs and Ethereal units getting an "immune to poison" trait would be a nice buff, both thematically and mechanically.

I think if you're bringing 2 necrosphinxes you should probably bring chariots, you have no way of clearing peasants if your artillery gets compromised.

The reason large monsters have so much problems hitting small entities is because they knock them over a lot. If I remember correctly the game checks if they are knocked over first then checks for damage and if a unit is knocked over it can’t take damage.

Felix is a great addition to Repanse! However you could get Henri and 2 Paladins(without any shenanigans) for 600 + 400 + 400, they are a great addition to your peaseants as they are knights, buff leadership, and are anti large(henri) anti infantry (paladins) paired with a relique and a blob of peasents you get some real good value out of every fight except for ghost units.

Speaking on poison working on constructs, it shouldn't really work on any tomb kings units when you think about it. How do you poison a skeleton?

I like how in Warhammer, you can Zerg Rush the stereotypical evil hordes of demons or orcs with millions of medeival peasants. No heroic outnumbered last stands against the evil monsters. It's the evil monsters doing a desperate last stand against millions of unwashed peasants!

really map and enemy dependent but i love the fay on foot with Felix his passive healing keeps her healthy. His buff can be good at protecting from sniping. She will just mortise down everything

foot character only has a 0.01 chance of getting hit when kd; this is to allow the big KD off monsters without destroying an entire regiment in the process; you can't change this for individual units, it's a change to all units when doing so, its in kv_rules if interested (which one should, it should be 0.1 just like KB's are, instead of 0.01 which is just ridiculessly low and creates these really dumb looking things; honestly i am going to experiment of how high that ratio can be and not fk up balance, bc missing when you KD someone is dumb, ofc they should take Some dmg; so thats a lot off fiddly testing (you can also just upper their KD resist on all lord/hero foot to very high so they rarely ever they kd thrown around, or minimize the kd time from 1+2sec to 0.5 sec downed, giving more opportunity and less immunity timer.) etc. but yes its broken numbers ^^

kinda crazy how much damage peasants with shitty bows deal to actual statues

they need to fix unsummons as they destroy the atmosphere with how they magically dissappear from midmap right before they are charged ^^ and its unfair and really really dumb as a mechanic ^^ unsummon should be removed and when units are ordered to retreat flee off the battlefield it counts as unsummon when they reach the corner. and hey finally something to use the "flee" command botton too ^^ got someone to mod it honestly;

God, I wish constructs were good and not janky as hell (Hierotitan is just a worse giant, only much more expensive)

Normally I'm a big fan of Ripass de Mayonnaise but I think Bretonnia has achieved "Dark Lord" status in the meta and isn't much fun to watch right now. This match was incredibly one-sided.
