Sepulchral Stalker shots are still powerful against infantry(I believe their shots pierce infantry models and have enough damage to one-shot several models per shot). They do poorly in melee though. Even with their bonus vs Large, their base MA is so low that they are lucky if they get a 50% hit chance against large targets. It is even worse against infantry. They are definately an ambush unit where you overwhelm an enemy with the high-powered shots, and if the enemy tries to run them over with cavalry(the typical tactic when dealing with ranged units), they have charge defense and anti-large, so they are difficult to shut down with such tactics. Always try to keep them at range. Better to find a flanking position and keep firing, than attempting to close into melee.

Necropolis knights are popular, but players usually only take one as a mobile beat stick. They are sub-par in this match up due to minotaurs with great weapons.

Khalida is considered one of the worst lords in the game. She is usable but does nothing really well. I imagine Turin would choose Arkhan as the best lord.

@@ScrumChum I believe you but I was surprised how well she stands up. She has poison and can retreat quickly if needed.

They're micro-intensive, but also aren't they not working as intended right now? Because damage isnt applied during knockback.

@@jeffreymonsell659 No, I checked and it isn't listed among the known issues. It's just that knockback actually inflicts relatively low damage as it only applies one instance of damage to a unit, thus wasting most of the charge bonus (which lasts between 10 and 15 seconds). This is why ironically running through a unit does way less damage than staying and fighting. Ultimately, Chariots (without ranged attacks) are only really good at one thing: punching through enemy lines. Which is a strength that is incredibly hard to exploit in MP given how vulnerable chariots are to cavalry and even monstrous infantry (though for that reason they're a common pick against Dwarfs who lacks both).

Chariots are ugly af tbh and feel so weak lol War Sphynx are infinite times cooler and badass

For me the chariots are too clunky and for the price I would rather invest in the shielded, poison, armor-piercing, much more maneuverable Venom Knights that can also be healed by a Necrotect..

The early lucky shot was nice and puts some extra pressure on the beastmen player when combined with the Spirit Leech, but getting greedy and trying to finish him with the Bone Giant was probably a mistake. The Minotaurs would have been better value and overall more impactful.
