2 months in with an OBX, 2.3L, stock wheels/tires and I get 23mpg in suburban driving. better than i expected! ETA, i cannot wait for a hybrid version!!!

The sasquatch package comes with a 4.70 rear gear, that's why the RPMs are up a little on the freeway.

The First Edition Bronco has full underneath body armor which makes the mileage even more impressive.

You'd NEVER see this on the NEDC or even the WLTP cycle. It sucks that the rest of the world has to deal with nonsense ratings.

How is 6 months later? Still 19-20 mpg highway? I just got picked up for my build date after waiting since July 2020.

Not sure how you are getting those numbers. My wife and I have the same FE and we get 15.6 around town and 18-19 on Hwy if we are lucky.

All i can think about when i see these big monster truck things is, "i bet that thing is BRUTAL at the gas pump". Ev life is king.

17 city and 17 highway, lol you usually only see similar or same numbers on hybrids.

The hard top, from this video, seems like it was pretty quiet. I test drove a soft top Bronco and it was excruciatingly painfully loud on the highway, to the point that I decided not to buy it for that sole reason. Hopefully they fix the hard top quality control soon and I’ll give it another try. Good stuff!

I have never seen anyone drive a car as slow and gentle as this. That is not a "real world" comparison. Drive it like a man not a child

19 mpg for a new vehicle is pretty lackluster even if it's for an SUV. In an age where electric pickups and getting over 100 mpge is common, 19 just isn't enough.

This only works if the earth is flat. Try this from Denver I70 to Glenwood Springs.

my 99 suburban got 21 on the hwy...that should be getting closer to 30

Your out of the box specs are wrong! 35's the rest of your video is unreliable. Fail. They don't offer the Bronco with 37's

Highway driving is perfection; you know in a F250 with the 6.2 you can get 13mpg Kinda cool. I would be surprised if any vehicle had bad mpg on the highway

I think it’s time to stop celebrating really terrible fuel economy just because it’s “better” than some other trucks. Fuel economy numbers for a lot of trucks have only marginally improved over the past couple decades, and yet they are now some of the most common vehicles on the road. To be clear, that’s not the fault of Kyle or the channel, that is the fault of vehicle manufacturers being irresponsible, consumers not caring, and the government’s failure to enact appropriate regulations.
