It's not a Capri that's a vw

The new Capri doesn't pay homage to anything. It's a honking great big SUV, not a small coupe. It was licensed and manufactured from Volkswagen (just like the Explorer) and is just a reskinned ID.4. And it was not reskinned in a good way, but in a minimal effort way - a new body shell and Ford logos slapped on but still diving into the VW parts bin. It just shows how far Ford has fallen. They don't have the money to develop or produce their own EVs and so supplicate themselves to companies that can. I doubt the brand will last much longer in Europe the way things are going.
