"Spot the Block" wasn't the only failed food-related escapade from Cartoon Network. Today, we're going to delve into their obscure collaboration with Kellogg's cereal, what was supposed to come from this partnership, and its abrupt aftermath.

And of course, the memorable ads from each cereal. I remember when Froot Loops had that campaign where Toucan Sam and his nephews are on an adventure to find treasure, and even figuring out who is Black Beak, or the Rice Krispies ad where Snap, Crackle and Pop sing a very catchy jingle with a punk rock twist in a concert! Man, I missed it so much!

I remember my cousins and I collecting the stickers, and being disappointed that Ed, Edd n Eddy didn't win. Even so, Dexter was also a good choice in our books.

This is a shame. I will admit, I loved the Scooby cereal as a kid, and I remember it being around for a while, but if the Dexter cereal had actually come out, I'd have went crazy for it!!

Ya know, as cool as having jawbreakers for breakfast is, I always wondered why they didn't make the Ed Edd n Eddy cereal just Chunky Puffs. It'd be pretty easy to make too, it's essentially just Trix with marshmallows if I remember correctly.

I think the most luck Cartoon Network has ever had with anything remotely related to selling food was through cookbooks.🤔😗 They have the licensed cookbook for Adventure Time which I myself am a proud owner of.🙂😉

I think Lucky Charms might have had that gimmick with a special marshmallow at one point, but I'm not entirely sure.

This might not have to do with actual food, but it's still related to Cartoon Network, Kellogg's, and Scooby-Doo. Ever heard of the Toon Tour of Mysteries DVDs? If not, then you should do a video on them. If you already did a video on them, then my mistake for getting too ambitious.

It was what I voted for. I didn’t expect it to win (hell, even I didn’t watch the show), but it sounded the tastiest. What disappointed me was not that it lost, but that more people voted for the lame rehashes of existing Kellogg’s cereals, seemingly because their favorite character was on the box.

I guess you’re not a fan of Almond Joy or Hostess Snowballs if you don’t think chocolate and coconut go well together. I was so pissed at the results of this contest. I didn’t really expect the one I wanted to win. Hell, even I didn’t watch “Mike, Lu, and Og”, I just thought that its cereal sounded like it’d taste the best and was a good fit for a show set on a tropical island. No, what annoyed me about it is that some people seemingly just voted for their favorite show rather than what cereal sounded the best. My pick lost to Johnny Bravo Flakes (just bigger Frosted Flakes, which I guess are an okay fit for the character, but we already had Frosted Flakes!) and probably some of those other lamer ones that were just attached to a more popular show.

I would've voted for Dexter's laboratory but unfortunately I never even knew this happened, however I do remember a promotion with Kellogg's and cn back in the day which basically made cereal exciting, there were rare DVDs that you could win from pretty much any Kellogg's cereal and it came with a bunch of bonus content including music videos from a bunch of cartoons like the Powerpuff girls or Dexter's laboratory Ed Edd n eddy etc, personally I believe that's the only time cartoon network made good friends with food lol.
