Fascinating video. Love the fact that you made the scarf yourself! You say the only thing JN-T didn't update was the TARDIS. I'm assuming you mean the interior set, because he *did* have a new police box prop built, complete with stacked roof and door handles (the previous prop had neither and was falling apart).

Also, to be accurate to Tom...hide the question marks! On set, he would usually hide them! Most production stills show them tucked under the jacket or hidden by the scarf.

I think you're a deep winter (seasonal colour theory, if you are familiar) and Tom Baker was probably an autumn (imho a lot of Brits are, hence tweed/beige being traditional dress in Britain dating back to the iron age) so burgundy looks great on you, whilst it overwhelmed Tom's complexion, so perhaps he didn't like it as much.

A couple nights ago, a local theater played the new blu ray logopolis before the season 18 was released, and I got to see it. It was a shame there were only like, 4 people In the theater

Nice job on the custom scarf! Looks good! Fun behind the scenes information, the boots went missing because they were Tom's actual boots. So when he left, they went with him! I believe the boots from season 15 onwards were his own until the end of season 18.

While I am putting this costume together (agonisingly slowly but surely) I am also doing what I’m calling Doctorbound which is similar to a Disneybound meaning I use casual clothes which echo a character’s look and I adore this costume so I’ve made a burgundy casual outfit inspired by this look (I even managed to include the hat being replaced with a cap, the gold question marks and a shortened version of the scarf)

Tom's first seasons outfit or his series 16 I think with the beige like coat are my favourite outfits that he wore and I might cosplay those ones in the future

I just finished watching The Leisure Hive and in episode 4 when he's changing out of the yellow robes, he puts on a jacket as well as the big overcoat. Have not been able to find any photos of the jacket alone, was hoping you'd know what the style looked like?

Very good video on building a Season 18 Tom Baker outfit! I'm planning on following what you have in this video, but I do have one question. I notice that much of the cosplay comes from overseas, and sizes can run different. Whenever you ordered the coat, shirt, and vest from Cosplaysky, was the sizing of the clothing true to your sizes, or did you have to order a size or two larger? (For example, I wear Large for coats and shirts. If I order a Large from Cosplaysky or ACosplay, will it fit or will I need to order a XL?)

As awesome as this costume is ... I’m surprised nobody has mentioned the fact that the hair is practically identical to how Tom’s hairstyle looked in 1980 anyway awesome cosplay Dom ... also can’t wait for your turn as the purple doctor you really are gonna be radical

If you were to ask me a year or two ago what I thought of this costume, I would've said that it's my least favourite of Four's costumes. Now, it's my favourite and I think it's leaps and bounds better than his Season 12.

He never had the shirt collar hard splayed open like that. 6:35 comparison says it all. Yours looks like it’s been ironed too much. Let it breathe man, it looks like a sunflower or something.

Tom Baker hated it... I always felt it was too stylized, didn't fit his Doctor at all. Not to say I don't like it, I love it, but it just didn't fit his Doctor's personality, too bland. Very well done, though!

The hair is also appropriately Tom-ish:)
