I remember this game all to well. Not as good a feeling as beating the Packers in the 2014 NFC Championship. It felt like a game we should've lost but God gave us a break. I'm sorry Vikings fans. I can't even imagine how this feels given the Vikings playoff history. We shouldn't have won this game.

@@ryanrobertson7218 quite on the contrary the rest of the Vikings team didn't do their job. Should have scored TD's. Blair had to make kicks on a chilly as hell and windy afternoon because of the red zone ineptitude. Football is a team sport, and its hard to pinpoint one guy's one error when the rest of the team sucked in their mission.

Bad Booking the point of a kicker is to have the luxury of not having to drive down field only kick down field. They wait until their offence puts all their effort in to get down field to go in position to get some kind of points. The kickers job is at the end of the drive go in and kick the ball. All those kicks wouldnt be happening if it werent for the offence taking them down field. They didnt need a touchdown they needed a field goal, they drove down field like they had to, sent in the kicker to do his job, score points when a drive ends, and he didnt do it.

@@bigmoinaz6363 now, with modern building techniques, football is an indoor/outdoor sport, so you're wrong. NDSU seems to be fine winning championships with an indoor stadium, so you're wrong. Cold weather might help you get to the SB, but it will never help you win. In fact, you will put yourself at a disadvantage if you have a team designed to play in cold weather because the SB is ALWAYS played in a warm city or a climate-controlled stadium.

Blair Walsh, Brian Bostick...so many careers wrecked at the hands of the LOB machine. The Seahawks during those years was playing with the perfect amalgamation of luck and skill. It's been a fun decade for Seahawks fans.

This is the first time I've actually seen the entire highlights from this game (as a Vikings fan). It's so satisfying to see the Vikings play better than the Seahawks; yet so frustrating to view the final play.

Same goes for Vikings fans with Bears. There haven’t been many opportunities recently with the Bears not making the playoffs very often, but Cody Parkey does just fine. But I think we can both agree that Raheem Mostert rushing for 200 yards and 4 TDs against the packers is better than either of those.

Funny story. I was on winter break and we just so happened to be in Minnesota, so we went to the game, and Im from New Orleans, and we think below 40 is cold. So I had on all of my winter gear. I was freezing ALL GAME. I didn't warm up till like 4 pm that day.

teddy marched them down the field. Dude was poised. The kick is no good and then Teddys leg is almost amputated before the next season starts. A really awful sequence of events for the Vikings, as is tradition.

The Seahawks would miss the playoffs the following year, by one game. One of their losses was to Washington, 14 - 17. Blair Walsh was their kicker in that game, and he missed three field goals.

Last two times the Seahawks won Wild Card Games on the road, the other team's kicker accounted for all the scoring on three field goals. Also, Seattle's defense didn't allow a single touchdown in its last three Wild Card wins.

I honestly think low key this might have been the vikes year to make a super bowl. They had a good team and would have went to arizona the next week(a place they already won in) and then carolina would have been tough but beatable.
