Baking fruitcake is a Christmas tradition in Jamaica. People actually save cake specifically to give to other family and close friends.

I met you at your Raleigh show - & wanted to say how proud of you were that you had guts to do stand up & go on camera on daily show - from writer ✍️ to performer - I didn’t actually get that out of my mouth -(I just said you best comic today) you have cojonaes & a great drive. I worry about all the ptsd that you have had & sometimes put yourself in weird situations …but it def makes for funny material

When i was young fruitcake made me think of stained glass windows. Every few years i fond i need a hite of fruitcake. And usually, homemade ones r good and store bought is sketchy. But i stoll buy one every so often. This past one was a war crime tho. So i get it.
