My guess: an escaped baboon / gibbon / chimp / orangutan kept as an illegal pet, that either found its way back to its owner, or ran into a bobcat/coyote/wolf - hence, nothing ever found. Hey, I live right next to Dover and one time I heard someone talk about this Dover devil. 6 or 7 years later I searched Dover devil and I’m surprised there is not a devil in a different Dover, not the Dover that I live next to.

I think it’s a new species of lemur or slender loris, I just can’t think of what it could be besides a giant slender loris that lives in the area. Perhaps it could be a hybrid that escaped from a facility? But I don’t think it’s something like an alien, why would a extraterrestrial being with lots of intelligence go from a bipedal to a four legged stance on less it’s injured? I just can’t think of something more likely.

If we knew if it moved then it could've been a prank by someone else. Like they just placed a bendable puppet there, hid to wait for cars passing by and once nobody was around they changed the positioning and the eye-color was created with colorful lenses. I don't know what was possible back then of if they found human footsteps in the area (or if the terrain was one where you could've seen footsteps) but that's the most reasonable thing I can come up with. Might've been one of the first witnesses friends or someone entirely unrelated who wanted to freak people out.

What if I tell you I saw that thing on February 2020 on my backyard in Puerto Rico, and nobody believe me, whatever it is I know what I saw and it's definitely that creature.

I remember this well aprill 1977 saw it in the boston harold and the globe. Now dover is only 16 miles from boston mass I think. That means fenway park boston college the boston garden. Where thousands of fans cheer on the local team. I mean it's like on the west needham mass border or south natick mass border. But it's like really creepy at night I mean so close to boston mass newton mass Brighton. Yet you would think you we're out in the deep woods like the Berkshire area of western massachusetts 125 miles west. Anyway I can't make up my mind but hey maybe a door opened up to a out of world realm. I drove one night Thur dover on farm st or central st I remember miller hill rd I think it's like dark and creepy. I just kept on driving Thur dover then went into needham mass. From what I understand from the animal planet series lost tapes, the Dover Demon has a body count but there was no mention of that in this video. Is animal planet exaggerating? or did that information mess with this guy's point at the end of this video? Propaganda fux with reality I guess.

Personally I don’t agree with the alien one. But there has been some cases of unsolved ufo cases that have had drones involved, such as the case in the widely popular Victorian era siting or even with a craft the size of a small clown car

WRONG!! According to THE SAN ANTONIO STAR of June 19, 1977 they HAD met each other before because they were described as "school chums" and photographed together for the article!! I don't know why a Texan newspaper would be interested in such an unspectular long-distance local event in a New England State merely reported by some kids with NO proof but maybe the name of the newspaper with the word "Star" in it and the possibility the alleged "creature" was an alien from outer space had something to do with it. And interestingly, Bartlett was stated as "studying art", while since then his friend Baxter (they even resembled each other enough to look like brothers) has become a professional full-time artist. Their drawings of the ALLEGED "creature" are not only well-delineated but remarkably SIMILAR. Get your details STRAIGHT before you draw conclusions! It was a HOAX, possibly inspired by knowledge of the making of the now-famous 1977 movie "Close Encounters of the Third Kind"---- the "third kind" being the classification for sightings of and/or meetings with extraterrestrial aliens.
