I have the same thoughts dude. But I think as long as you are still working on your projects during the week as much as possible (even if only for 30 minutes), it will help to keep you motivated. Sometimes because it has been a while, it creates that dissonance where I don't want to continue because it has been so long. Then I rationalize that it wasn't that good anyway and I move on. Don't do that, keep working on it. If you jump on for 10 minutes, then you will have had to recall those memories and the processes. Your brain then has that recent information in your brain and it subconsciously keeps you thinking about it MORE than if you had not jumped back into the project. Tl;Dr You have to sometimes force yourself to keep going. The more projects you continue to finish properly, the easier it gets to navigate that workflow. There are so many different ways to go about it, but as long as you keep working on it, you are progressing. I promise you it helps. I would love to see your work!

@jonluoni1290
@jonluoni1290 3 жыл бұрын
@@DJL3G3ND That is a bit funny, usually I hear people say that about ZBrush. I felt the same way and I put it away for a couple years. When I came back I actually chose a tutorial that was specifically for beginners and it really helped learn the interface. For some reason it clicked the second time around and I really enjoyed it. If you do decide to try it again, find a very basic (as simple as you can) tutorial to see if it could help things "click".

This is, by far, one of the most entertaining workflow videos I've ever seen. I'm someone who has a metric crap-ton of trouble concentrating on anything. The memes and jokes make absorbing the info so much easier. I also like how Savannah gets straight to the point. People like me can appreciate when someone speaks in bullet points, rather than paragraphs.

I have no idea, but I'm looking for the answer :)
@TimV777
@TimV777 Жыл бұрын
@@MrYipYep I've found a way. I remesh the highpoly after adding polygroups for the uv islands I want. When remeshing I keep polygrups. Then I unwrap the low poly keeping polygrups so that I have nice uv islands. Then I subdivide and re project the details. The same uvs can be applied to the high poly. So when rendering I can use the high poly with the textures. When texturing I can use the low poly because substance wouldn't handle the high poly. A better way is to start a low poly base sculpt. Group n remesh n uv. N then slowly add on details by subdividing.
@MrYipYep
@MrYipYep Жыл бұрын
@@TimV777 thanks a lot. I imagine my workflow was bad not having a base mesh clean with low poly and nice polygroups UV islands. I will do it next time. Cheers @xx xx Have a nice sculpt !
