Adam Carolla is one of the most successful comedians around.
Millions of people listen to his podcasts, attend his live shows, and read his books.
Many of you liked the short video we did, but he deserves more time.
----
To make sure you see the new weekly video from Stossel TV, sign up here: www.johnstossel.com/#subscribe
----
In our full conversation, he goes much deeper into why he never apologizes for anything he says.
He rails against the media’s Covid hysteria.
He reacts to friends like Howard Stern and Jimmy Kimmel hammering his Covid opinions.
And he tells me why overregulation in California is “insane."

One great thing about when woke actually wake up and become libertarians, is that they apologize loudly and proudly that they were wrong. Conservative drug warriors as well. Former supporters of the two parties righteously articulate how and why they become libertarians and classical liberals in a way that would change the hearts and minds of the blind fools, if they would listen.

I want the US Constitution to be followed (Note the 16th amendment did not ratify but President Wilson ordered his Secretary of State to give it a ratification date; US Supreme Court would not hear We The People over this) minus the 16th amendment, plus the lost 13th amendment ( the ratified but lost amendment that forbid members of congress to have loyalties to any other governments especially legal members banned from the BAR, a British association). It would be nice if the Declaration of Independence really was followed (meaning NO administrative law, aka regulatory law). Yep that would mean Congress could Not be lazy. Regulations not allowed would mean any prohibited actions would have to be a law. That would by sheer bulk make it impossible tohave the mess we have. The United States would be a friendlier nation again.

People have no idea how insane permit laws are across the country. I had a client in San Diego, California that wanted to do minor updates to the back of the building to raise the ground to stop it from flooding and get it to flow in to the existing storm drain. The permit itself just to do the project is $250,000! Not the cost of the whole project, the permission to even begin! Client in Pennsylvania invited me to a nice restaurant for dinner and it was BYOB (bring your own booze... To a restaurant?!). I mentioned it was surprising that a restaurant this nice wouldn't get a permit to sell alcohol cause that's a huge margin for revenue. Yeah I'm sick of this crap too. To many people think you need to be certified by a college to have an opinion on a particular topic, like books are not available outside college therefore no one outside college understands anything. Maybe we should switch up the system and tell them we'll only accept their argument if their IQ passes a minimum value or after they pass a critical thinking skills test.

Just do what they're doing, hold strong with the truth. If it's a matter of actual opinion, that doesn't corrupt the truth, let it be. If it's a matter of truth, just speak it and defend it, without bending. People can believe what they want, but it doesn't change the truth, and maybe they'll realize it.

"People are dumb." That I agree with. Imagine disregarding the advice of people who spent years or decades in the medical field for the ravings of a comedian with a C- in biology. Having seen what COVID can do to the vulnerable, I find the response to be too lax but feel free to be you. That's what this is all about isn't it? Feeling free. It's pointless to consider the millions upon millions of deaths worldwide.
@Sigmund1924
@Sigmund1924 Жыл бұрын
@@victorunbea8451 Context my boy. Context. The world has billions of people living in it. Because of that you thought nothing of it when hundreds of thousands of the “vulnerable” died every year because of the flu. You didn’t mask. You didn’t demand businesses be shut down. You didn’t take to the streets demanding schools be closed. You didn’t even support vaccination mandates that required employees be vaccinated or lose their jobs. Not of that mattered to you because you wanted your freedom and you knew that the World couldn’t stop spinning because a small percentage of vulnerable people could die. Furthermore, what of the other medical professionals that wanted to be heard but were silenced by the media and government? You know, the ones that believed and had evidence that masks and lockdowns were useless in combatting Covid. Do their degrees mean nothing to you? 😢

I'm very happy to have found John here. Over the decades he has always struck me as The Point/Voice of Reason by sticking to facts, then analyzing the entire topic. Glad to here by way of his vids that he has found a freedom away from any strangulating ideology; he never struck me anyway, as having to knuckle under to the "big guy in the front office". This particular segment w/Adam Carolla was excellent and it especially presented information that I was not aware of before. All I have ever looked for is honest reporting based on facts; if a News Agency's Business Model would just do that, they would clean house vs. the other Agencies.

Our parents meant to make us tough and ready for the world. A world they knew was not fair, not nice and would crush you if you weren't ready or tough. Now parents raise their kids based on not doing what their parents did because they didn't like it, and they expect by some miracle by the time their children are grown the world will stop being mean and hard and cruel.

You asked, "What do they want you to apologize for?" The answer starts out as being something specific but once they realise that they have this one-sided power over all people on the right, then you must apologize every time you open your mouth and say something. It becomes less of what you said and more of who said it, once they've labled you.
