Okay, hold up here people. As far as I know about Bi-Han and Kuai Liang, is that they are half breeds. Their mother was a human, their father was a chiromancer. While Frost is a pure bred chiromancer. How do can you tell the difference? Chiromancers have a few bad traits like quick to react first, ask questions later; short tempered; territorial; have poor judgment and have no interest in others well being. But they do have some traits too like being quick learners, flexible, very strong and can survive the coldest temps known to man. Sound like anyone we know? Now for being half breeds however, the Sub zero brothers have proven they have both human & chiromancer traits: Bi-Han : very strong; quick leaner; had good judgement and cared for his younger brother, going as fas as to allow a friendship to form between Kuai Liang (his younger bother) and Thomas (Smoke) which was forbidden in the Lin Kuei. He also never killed defenseless women & children. Remembering his past, being taken from their mother at such young age, shows much of his human side. Unfortunately the chiromancer traits of quick to react; being territorial; and short tempered seemed to be stronger in him than in Kuai. Kuai Liang : the younger brother of Bi-Han, shows more humane traits. Though he does have a temper, he still has patients with those he is teaching. He has learned more about his chiromancer powers and seems to be able to control the ice better than Frost, a pure bred, which is saying something. The human traits he has are mercy, control over his emotions (if you didn’t notice in MKx he smiled when he saw Cassie’s group work together as a team, a well deserved earning), fair to good judgement which leads him to leave the Lin Kuei, fight for earth realm, become an earth realm protector and make peace with Honzo (Scorpion). He shows compassion to those who had lost loved ones. He shows this human trait in MK11 when Scorpion tells Kuai Liang how he still morns the loss of his wife & son. Kuai Liang replied with “I could not be so cold as to mock your pain”. He is quick to learn and had Bo’ Rai Cho as a master, who help Kuai destroy the cyber Lin Kuei, it was Cyrax who gave Kuai Liang the title of Grand Master, telling Kuai to make it count. At that point, Kuai shows his sorrow of loosing another friend, who commits suicide in hopes to end Sectors cyber initiative by self destruction. Bo’ Rai Cho is set on fire and is saved by Kuai who apologizes for his actions, a trait not shared by chiromancers. Though there are times when his anger gets the best of him, he will act without thinking. This only seems to happen when he’s pushed to his braking point, which suggests it could be a survival response, rather than emotional. Sorry for sounding a bit off when starting this comment (which has become a bit longer than a comment), I’ve been following MK since the day I saw the game in the arcade...27yrs ago😇 M
