HI Kent: One thing you could do is wire in an Electrical outlet inside the wall - about the IMA3303 Wall Housing - which you can use to plug in the USB Power Supply for the Echo. The Electrical outlet would need to be in a metal electrical box - which is mounted to the stud and be flush to the top of the Wall Housing - making it "accessible" when the Master Station is opened up or removed. To do this, you would need to uninstall the IMA3303 - loop off the existing transformers for 120 volt power - cut the top of the wall housing to gain access to the electrical outlet - then put it all back together The other choice would be to buy a really long USB Cable - run it from above or below into the IMA3303 and plug in the USB Power Supply in a more convenient location. You need to make sure the USB Cable and Power Supply are a higher wattage design - to deal with the extra distance - Chris

Hi TheMrOsaed: No, I don't have a Video that shows how to remove the Transformers - This Video shows how to remove the IMA4406 Master Station: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/kNanndR3vdenY5s.html To remove the Transformers, Do The Following: 1 Turn the Circuit Breaker off 2 Remove the Master Station 3 Unscrew the 4 screws that hold the Terminal Board to the back of the Wall-Housing 4 Remove the 2 screws that hold the Transformer Bracket to the Transformer can 5 Slide the 2 Transformers with the Bracket up - You may need to tilt it outward some and you may need to left the Terminal Board up, out of the way, also 6 Disconnect the Electrical Wires from the Transformers and disconnect the Ground Wire from the Bracket Chris

Hi Savio, To answer your direct question first. No, you cannot just use any of the transformers in the Video, the IMA4406 requires a NuTone 801T Transformer (which we have). The bigger questions is, Why Did Your 801T Fail? If you have a problem with your IMA4406 and you simply replace the 801T - it will just fail again. Hi ruenjou: No, it's not correct - The IM3303 has 2 separate power rails and it is specifically designed to be powered by 2 separate Transformers. The reason behind have 2 Transformers is simple - The IM3303 uses 301T Transformers, which were standard items in the Transformer product line - This meant that a custom Transformer did not have to be manufactured just for 1 product (IM3330) - Also, since the Transformers needed to be mounted inside the wall-housing, they needed to be of a certain size, a custom transformer may have been to large. Using a custom Transformer would also mean that it would have to been certified for it's application (more cost) Why are trying to replace the Transformers? Especially both of them? It would be highly odd that both would fail at the same time - 301T's are fairly common - Chris

@@northsideservicecompany3567 Both transformers are working. Just from engineering point of view, the dual-transformer design is a bit weird since they are not there for redundancy, costs and failure rates are increased. Anyway thanks for your reply.

The ring doorbell can use a 16.5 vac transformer, if your doorbell transformer doesn't provide enough power.

A 16.5 vac plugin transformer can work for the doorbell also

Hi Noang: The IM3303 already uses 2- NuTone 301T Transformers. . . Could you have a IM3003 ? which uses a single 105T? You can replace a 105T with a 301T - however the Transformer Drop Can will be too small to allow the 301T to fit inside of it properly . If you need a 301T Drop Can - you can contact us for one. - Chris
