Such a beautiful service and such a tribute to the First Lady of Coral Ridge! I'm so glad Coral Ridge has been restored back to the way it use to be!

Has Coral Ridge Presbyterian Church been restored to what it was (as when Dr. Kennedy was there) for all regular Sunday services.....or just for this funeral service for Sis. Anne?
@nathanking27596 жыл бұрын
Pastor Rob has done an amazing job bringing restoration back to this church.

I've gone to the church web-site for Coral Ridge & I see that Pastor Rob is doing a fantastic job there! Dr. Kennedy's shoes were truly very BIG shoes to fill..... I believe our beloved Dr. Kennedy would be pleased with the installation of Pastor Rob. When I'm visiting Miami again, I'll definitely make it a priority to attend the "traditional" Sunday service at Coral Ridge Presbyterian!

I was down there at that church a few months ago for a Diane Bish organ concert. She called on Mrs Kennedy to stand up and everyone gave her an applause. Who knew she would pass away a few months later.

I agree this was a moving and beautiful tribute. To see Samuel on the great organ was a blesing in itself. To have Dr. King conducting, and Samuel playing brought me to tears of joy.

The most beautiful music I've ever heard at a funeral. I grew up listening to Dr. Kennedy with my grandparents, as well as that magnificent organ, Diane Bish and Samuel Metzger. God bless the memory of Dr. and Mrs. Kennedy. Glory be to God forever.

I especially enjoyed the professionalism of the funeral staff. Around the 11:00 point where they do what they were trained to do, then exit the over head shot of the camera. FANTASTIC

I got goose bumps on the organ postlude. Totally gifted and professional the organist is.

Yes that was Samuel Metzger - former organist at Coral Ridge. He has his own KZfaq channel. And the Postlude is a famous organ piece - Widor's 5th symphony Toccata.

Didn't I read somewhere that the family of Dr. Kennedy was banned from the church after Tchividjian took over because they opposed him? I know that he was removed as pastor, but has the ban on Dr. Kennedy's family been lifted? I would certainly hope so, it seemed so petty on Tchividjian's part...
