Next free game that gets a leaderboard should have a rule that makes you do something at the start so you can immediately see who read the rules and who didn't, lessens the watching time and hopefully would make it faster to reject runs

yeah, especially for games with younger audiences. Minecraft is another good example where this could be applied as well.

They need an age minimum as well. Most of these runs are definitely submitted by children especially considering it is a Roblox game.

It could only really be used on stuff like meme links (rickrolls and such or even for links to anything but youtube), or else it may accidentally deny legit runs..it'd be like youtubes issue (people getting banned or videos taken down at random because the youtube bots mistaken it for being inappropriate or copyrighted for whatever reason, this kinda stuff happens when you give bots too much controll..they can't get everything right)

​​@@testerwulf3357 The problem with the youtube algorithm is that it's trying to do a lot more then it really can. It's a billion different inputs and only a few outputs. An algorithm for running through runs for certain issues (Poor FPS, not the right game, etc etc) can be made fairly easily actually. And an AI can go further then that. If you train it to search for certain frames that a player HAS to encounter in the fame. Such as hiding in the closet and scenes like that. And for cheated runs you can program a VERY intelligent AI to recreate the scenes at hand and be told what are signs of cheats and such and use a sort of redundancy system. Where a player has a set of points that are decreased for each thing the AI detects as cheating. In theory this would mean perfectly fine runs will still be good but that cheated runs would be tossed. And just for a saftey measure there can be three areas where a certain amount of point loss is fine, another is suspect, and the last is really certain of cheating. This is of course SUPER difficult and really really hard to make but it is a solution. Although the more possible one is the first kind of AI. Just making the useless junk go away is good.

@@cewla3348 It was all in theory. In theory it is all possible. In practice, it would never happen without commercially avaible Quantum computers. And even then it would be difficult without a large enough sample size. But regardless It could all be done. At least the simplier stuff is still viable in the current day.

Nah, I enjoy moderating, especially of a game I enjoy. It's more of a privilege than a chore.

Yeah but Roblox has the worst performance in general. I literally run Far Cry Primal better than most of the fast paced Roblox games.

It doesn't run badly, it just uses really bad settings they haven't changed since like 2008, when their target hardware could barely handle it.

​@@EeveeRealSenpai it depends on your settings in both games. Graphics level 10 has anti-aliasing, Anisotropic texture filtering, SSR, high render and shadow distance, normal mapping/PBR, soft particles etc. Basically Ultra settings which can make Roblox look super realistic when used correctly.

@@pwf2k that's the thing, Roblox doesn't got squat for base settings compared to other games, and if they do, it's definitely not user friendly enough to be used by the community considering not enough games use it.

@@EeveeRealSenpai you know, the reason they only have a slider for settings from 1-10 is because they want to be user-friendly. Games themselves can have options for less intensive graphics, but it wouldn't be as detailed as that of most other games on other engines because they don't have access to low-level stuff. Most of the lag-causers like anti-aliasing can't be modified by devs anyway.

Fr, tried to play the update with the rooms and stuff, and couldn't make it past room 20-30 because I kept dying due to lag problems..non of my friends faired better (one of my friends actually made it to the first seek chase but lag so hard they were running into stuff till seek killed them); before the update I could pretty much run it (made it to door 50, sadly died but a friend beat it, my sacrificed was necessary) but now I'll probably need a better computer

Fr, my computer can't run doors at all, since the graphics card is in the CPU (making it terrible for games in general) I tried turning the graphics down to 1 which helped it run but then the lighting just, didn't work at all, it'd take 5 mins for the lighting to process so I'd be sitting in darkness for a while, You can imagine how many times I've gotten killed due to this 💀

Gt 1030 and 2nd gen core i7 and a adata ssd works fine…!

I think the only half sane way of verifiing my run is having a trusted person observe it in vc, while doing the run itself.
