You must not have a 17 gallon gas tank and top it off every time you get gas. Nor does your winter season (December-February) have wind chills of -25 degrees Fahrenheit. This is an excellent idea considering you’re not supposed to get back into your car and not watch the pump. Something to do with static electricity. Look it up I’m not bullshitting ever to anyone in life. Thanks for the likes greatest people on earth…… it’s a cool invention and true man with a big D are not picking it apart like a nerd does, and just appreciating it for what it is. @@J_Shawn_Paul You’re right, my tank isn’t 17 gallons; it’s 80 liters (21 gallons)! You mustn’t have heard of the little pump lock pins, which enable you to sit inside your car if you’re freezing. It also has a trip diaphragm, so the flow is automatically stopped when the fluid level reaches the nozzle! This is a way simpler mechanism than building robots to fill up your tank. People are getting way too comfortable and complaining about doing simple tasks.

@@exo_7536Not to mention there will probably be less fires and damage to the pumps due to people driving off with the hose still in the spout. Also, it's just like everything else at the gas stations, all else being equal you prefer to go to the gas station that plays music to the one that does not, all else being equal you prefer to go to the one that shows you the weather compared to the one that does not, when it gets cold AF you'll probably want to go to this pump over the one that you have to get out and pump yourself.

I heard some states in US do not allow people to fill their own car at gas station themselves. So this is probably to cut cost of hiring employees to do that at gas stations.

It may take you minutes dude 😂…You seems to be a moron, what about getting off from your car in a freezing cold weather, then get on a risky slippery surface while you try to reach the nozzle, take the gas cap off, put the nozzle then start pumping, then go inside and wait your turn to pay for gas (maybe 3 or 4 people in front of you) go back inside your car. With this machine you pay from your phone been inside your car and without any hazles, learn before you make a criticism!

Fuel stations have already trained drivers to fill up themselves. Why would they buy a fleet of robots ( one per pump ) to do the same job ? If the driver accidentally puts diesel in a petrol car its their own fault. If the robot messes up, _ instant lawsuits
