Hey guys. I realized I made a massive oversight when making this video and forgot that supercell makes things cheaper and faster whenever they add a new townhall. So my main argument for the video doesn’t really make sense lol. Thank you to everyone that let me know in the comments

Th2 lasts 30 seconds the grind is internal 💪💪💪

The time to max out hasn't ever changed. It's always been 4 years, due to the time reductions and cost reductions applied to lower TH from time to time. Furthermore, back in the day it was way more difficult to achieve any progress: magic items weren't a thing, you couldn't gather dark elixir at TH 7, troops required resources to train - things like that. Nowadays the pace of the game is significantly faster.

Clash of Clans wouldn't be in much trouble as they add more higher Town Halls, the lower levels will get decreases of building time and gold/elixir cost. Hopefully they continue to approach this path because it's the only solution to keep the game running alive.

This is not a problem as supercell shortens the times for previous townhalls as they add new content

the approach seems fine tbh, because when I started th9 took over a year to max but now they do massive cost cuts for time and resources and having played through the game again, well, the bases are far far faster. its crazy how fast they are to upgrade now. the mid-range grind never feels slow imo

do anyone remember how lvl 4 air defence took 8 days to complete. now its like 12 hour ig

the only negative I see is that at one point, imagine like TH20, you'd go through 10 town halls in like a month which is just a lot of content for such a short amount of time

Decrease the build time this is the only solution 🙏🔥

I don't think the issue is as bad as it looks. Supercell has massively reduced building/researching times over the years and even since Capital Update, every week amounts to 10 research days if you buy and use the 3 research potions with Raid medals. The final upgrade timers are long, but it's nothing that League medals can't instantly upgrade. I do agree that they should probably consider new side modes in the future, although those take up quite a lot of resources and time for development. I also do think Rolling out Town hall levels will slow down in the future, as now they have 3 villages to worry about, where they can focus one of each every update and roll out balance changes.

The thing is they always buff progresion when they introduce newer town halls so it helps players catch up

Even if they decide to stop working on a new TH for the main village to let other players catch up for like idk, a year or two ? Then it'll basically end up like the builder base where no one even barely plays it.

Started a new account after I couldn’t find my old village not too long ago and I’m already ahead of where I was on my old village in less time the progression isn’t an issue imo the only thing I think needs fixing is matchmaking for trophy pushers in master 3 rn as a th8 and they except me to attack th10-12 players half the time and it takes forever to find another th 8 or 9 I could actually beat

Every time they ad a new town hall level to the game, time and costs to upgrade on lower levels decreases. Which means that overall time you need to reach max town hall level remains aproximately the same. Just because you will need to complete more th levels in the future, doesn't meen it will take you more time to max out a base than it does now.

The thing is supercell neverwanted new players to catch up to the latest stuff without waiting or playing ,, ,, so only players who genuinely like the game stick around and buy things like gold pass and special offers to progress faster . Clash of clans has always been the journey that we enjoy not the destination .Thus only players who play competitive max out while majority of player base is casual attack ,upgrade , max out or rush ,,then next townhall . It's a game that makes someone realize that they have started playing it years ago and how far they have come ,,and how things have changed every base has a story for the player who upgraded it bit by bit ,,,it shows how far you are and how long you have been playing for without you needing to say I have been playing for 3 years now I am at th 13 ,,,,when someone says I am at th 14 useseally they are older players .

It is much more harder to max new townhall and it is cheaper to upgrade old townhall. Everything is balanced. Further more lower townhal have much more advantage from the events and free rewards.

The years of grind is the fun part

The thing most of you would agree is that in previous versions where rushing was a thing, you could really rush your Townhall and then fix your rushes with really good loot and dead bases. The patch where they made it difficult for you to rush and fix and the lack of dead bases, I mean you can search for ages and barely find any, that's the time when it really started to die. Really man there are only a few of my friends who have coc installed these days. Well they got what they deserve for ignoring many countries for trivial excuse of language barrier 😂😂

Tbh it doesn’t take that long to max out. I’ve been playing everyday for 6 months and I’m already town hall 11. By the time th 16 comes out I’ll be maxed (which is only in a few months)

They just need to reduce wall price and horrible timing of buildings

But you have cost reductions and as you go up the town halls you get no stuff so in my opinion their is no problem 🤷‍♂️

The total amount of time to go from th1 to max th doesn't increase by much

I disagree with the foundation of your argument, unless you're a competitive player, there's no reason to achieve maxing out, and every few updates the costs and times are reduced so new players can progress, back when I started th11 was the max level and i got to th11 in 3 months when I created a new account in 2021

Supercell should do something like boom beach In boom beach we have warships which is getting reset for all players each month and each time there's gonna be different things to unlock a month we have a troop like heavy at start to progress and then next time we have to unlock tanks first and same for defense and gunboat and boosts too In clash of clans we need a new village like that so it's fresh and not getting long at progression also in boom beach from warships we can get main base resources too so yeah it's not gonna be so pointless

At one point every game becomes stale so let the game run till it can rather than holding back features for too long

COC should add some abilities or stats to hero skins and not just some visual effects.
