I've watched all your Game Chasers episodes this past week. Better than any current reality TV show.

This is the down and dirty part of game hunting, and it was really neat to see you working together to uncover the lot of Atari at the end of the rainbow. When you have absolutely no idea what you're going to find-- armed only with likelihood that SOMETHING is there-- it adds a bit of excitement that you don't always get. Loved hearing you both talk about your Atari 2600 experiences. I spent a lot of time as a youngster (between 6-12 years old) on Atari games, either at my maternal grandmother's house or visiting friends' houses to play. It was really the first small taste of playing arcade games at home, and as an arcade rat, I always had a good time playing while also understanding that compromises needed to be made between the coin-ops and the home versions. Billy mentioned the fact that Coleco published games for the 2600; Mattel did, too. I think both companies knew that Atari was super-dominant in the console space, so getting at least some money out of the 2600 by publishing games on it was nice. The closest we've seen to this since then is SEGA's move into being a third-party publisher, making games for Nintendo, Sony, and Microsoft. Thanks for another fun and entertaining episode, guys!

You've inspired me to get more into the retro scene and buy an NES and SNES. I really enjoyed turning off my life, thinking back about gaming back in the day and laughing at your ridiculous shit! Love the show! i just recently found out about you guys,and you guys just inspired me to continue my hunt for video games.after having my son,i had to get life in order and video game collecting takes a back seat.but when i see Jay with his son,it makes me want to collect a bit harder to share that with my son when hes cluttered with so options to game. retro gaming is where its at! keep it up guys! - new fan from miami!

Really cool episode! I like how it was mostly about pre-1985 stuff. Most people focus on NES and SNES but this was really good!

I wanted to let you guys know that i love your videos and watching them helps me feel better about game hunting. I spent a big chunk of my young adult life doing the wrong thing. I let drugs take control of me and i lost 8 years of being alive because of it. I have been clean for 3 years now and game hunting is now a big part of my life and watching your video's has helped me stay positive. For some reason Long Island is just terrible when it comes to finding retro games and i have found dick in the last 3 years. I'm still waiting for the day when i hit a motherload somewhere. I just appreciate what you guys are doing and wanted to let you know that your videos are helping me. Have a good day and keep chasing.

Definitely a case where perseverance pays off, well done on digging through all that and finding some classic Atari goodness. The earlier systems are some of my favourites as they were the systems I grew up with and even though the graphics can be quite limited, the game play in a lot of the games is excellent. Very much pickup and play games of course, but still can give the feeling of an arcade like experience in the game play. Even better that you found some boxes as well, think of how long they have been sitting in that storage area. Excellent episode, always look forward to the next one.

I have a sears model. Found it about six months ago. I knew I had to have it. Cool camera man. Thanks for the video made our day. We went game chasing today and picked up a lot from may aunt. n64,snes,ps1,sega genesis, ps2, wii, about thirty games. She hooked us up.

I started with the 2600 and Colecovision(we also had an Adam Computer as well) and have great memories from those days. Ive played Smurfs on the Coleco but never on the 2600. The graphics looked realy cool on there, Ive always loved the Atari sunset like in the Smurfs and Keystone Kapers. I think most of us 30-somethings love the NES but we all started with a 2600 joystick in hand
