Generally speaking I have most luck with randoms when we both have little/no gear and once we get to a point where backstabbing becomes more appealing I just break the team and depart on my separate way.

I love these interactions! It's similar in Escape from Tarkov. Most of time I don't get betrayed but the tenseness of not really fully trusting leads to neat moments like this. That would have scared me lol

Number one tip for not risking it with randos - either shoot on site - if you're close enough, tell them to walk to otherway, or get shot if they still come, start blastin😂

5:30, this is what I hate about these games, whether it's EFT, The Cycle: Frontier, or Tabor, that as soon as a player runs into a difficult situation with other players, they swear off all friendly interactions with other players. I totally get it, as evidenced by this video, that there's good reason for it. but I guarantee you that all the complaints of how extraction game playerbases are so toxic are are because of this. I usually try to strike a balance, where I team with no one but if we can have a conversation from a distance, we can let each other pass. Just a weird social phenomenon of games with stakes, I suppose

This happened to me: me and my friend were playing and we loaded in with naked random, he seemed cool so we agreed to team and after looting a bit and killing some npcs we went over to an army place and we got some good weapons, he said he knew how to dup. guns and he asked for one of our guns and grabbed it and shot us in the face. Was I being stupid or was he the problem?

This game is so fucked! I want it. Lmfao, from what I've been reading everyone learns to not trust eachother but the attachments you make in vr are way higher then the flat screen games. Because you can see their arms their head (sometimes feet and knees if in full body) But their way more emotive than a PUBG avatar or Tarkov or anything similar. Incredible.

It's odd. I had a similar situation today. I was killed with one shot while 30 feet from my exfil. When my KIA report came up there was no killer name, no range, no weapon, ammo, final hit, nothing. I was holding two rifles I had found (must be charged first) and did not do so before heading to exfil. I had heard two separate single shots from that area 10 and 15 minutes prior.

12:03 you 100% died to a ricochet, or a fenix (AI). when killed by other players, their name will show up and say killed by: "NAME HERE". this is that if somebody hacking, it's easy to get their name and report.

I usually befriend my victim only for that game then backstab them when they turn their back. Dumb and oblivious always work I guess?

Unfortunately, it’s a reason why I don’t trust random players, but at the same time I don’t play many games with people so it’s quite difficult playing RoN or any other tactical games in my own. Without others to play with, I end up losing interest in the games after 10 or so hours.

Great vid. Allthough I don't play with the in game mic muted. I think that's borderline cheating, since you don't have to think about when to speak as to not give a way your position (and that you're being a player rather than AI).

Really enjoying this game, but Quest 2 native is scuffed in a lot of ways. Island is essentially unplayable right now, because it's extremely laggy and when you to you raise your riffle in a fight the FPS just slams through the floor and the game jutters out, getting you killed, because it darn near freezes up. You can't get a proper sight picture to engage. On Silo, I'll get all kitted out and then when I load in, I just fall through the map and lose everything, like a completely kitted AKM, EOTech+G33, Dead Air Nomad 30 can, etc. If the FPS issue and stutters were finally addressed and combat were tighter this game would be straight fire. Still....with all that said, I love it. Just need to meet more tac buddies to raid with. Also, a lot of the suppressors that they have in-game actually mount to most of those firearms IRL....but they don't in-game, which is frustrating. The Sandman-K, Nomad-30, Ghost-M 45, all mount to almost everything, but in the game, the devs have only allowed mounting to specific guns.

So like 3 times me and my cousin spawned in with random person who was naked is this common?? and does armor break at all ive been using the same setup for like 3 raids besides that I only killed 3 players so far all who attacked me and my cousin , we agreed to not let anyone in our group and from my experience ive been killed by everyone on tarkov that I passed by so I dont think ill take the time to team up with anyone.

quick tip! something im noticing in your intro is that youre not centering your reticle in the middle of the glass. in irl if you shoot with your reticle off to the side of the glass it will shoot even father off to the side.

its not VR fault for the game being janky with the grenade, i bought it yesterday and i am having a big time irritation from trying to loot with a rubberband dragging me back, to not being able to pick up my backpack becouse i had items at top and needed to re-arange the whole shit midgame in order to not leave it behind. the game is buggy and janky, just call a shovel for a shovel and lets move on!

Bruh , I'm Trying to like this game. The hand interaction and physics really need some love. The amount of loot that has just poofed and disappeared makes me want to cry lol. Plus it feels like you are fighting the game to play the game. It's an extraction looter with the most awkward ass backwards interaction with gear. We need an option to remap the controls or at least the trigger and grip stuff. Sheesh, it feels like they deliberately made it awkward and uncomfortable. I know everyone want's this kind of game, but I don't understand the amount of praise and lack of criticism. Better made games are torn to shreds in reviews, but then you get an unpolished diamond in the rough like this, and people wont stop praising it. Am I wrong Here? I want to like this game. I know it's early Access and things are Expected to Change, but right now I have to Be Honest it feel's like strait Dookie sometimes. Other games like Into The Radius, and even Tactical Assault Feel like they got a better handle on weapon interaction or any other Shooter for that matter. I Feel like I Need to Wait to Truly enjoy this. I bought the Founding Fathers Package to show Support , but I also feel like games shouldn't be so well praised in states like this. There is a lot of good things happening here, as well as some real Glaring Issues. I'm hopeful Changes come soon. I want to play this without feeling like I'm trying to run with my Shoelaces tied while Wearing a strait Jacket! Am I the Only ONE?
