The Genius Abilities of Tears of the Kingdom

Күн бұрынI've been hooked to Tears of the Kingdom since release, which was the last thing I had expected after my mixed experience with Breath of the Wild. With so many new mechanics, changes and other additions, what made me love Tears of the Kingdom? Let's talk about the abilities of TOTK and why I think they're genius!

These abilities are all about making the game about problem solving rather than puzzle solving and I love that

After some experimentation, Recall is a lot more useful than the game lets on. It's even useful in some combat situations, like sending Talus boulders back in their face

Yeah, lots of people sleeping on recall. Many bosses get stunned when you recall their projectile back at them. You can rewind anything that gets blown away or falls down(like items or weapons) , freeze something in time so you can use ultrahand on it to regain control (like a runaway vehicle) , and tons of uses in tandem with ascend and ultrahand. It also has the furthest distance allowing you to recall stuff you can't even see anymore

yeah watching it back after I uploaded it I realized how long I had written the intro to be. Way too much exposition for a relatively short video
