If you premix your washing powder with water in a plastic spray tank and let it rest overnight. The next day all of the crystals will be dissolved and you can spray the strong soap onto the entire engine and let it soak. After soaking, power wash. You can also check your power washer to see if it has a suction tube for adding soap into the water spray. That is a common feature. I am happy to see you have added power washing.

When you reassemble the gear compartment (especially the open ball bearings) apply grease liberally. Especially in the ball bearing sockets (both plates) and all of the gear mating surfaces. As you reassemble the gears, lubricate the shaft where it passes through the casting with grease also. On the wet side (engine oil), use clean motor oil in all sockets and around all bearings for ease of assembly. When you have large threaded studs or bolts, apply a small amount of light clean machine oil in the threaded socket so the threads can be more easily turned in.

There's work and then there's QUALITY work. This girl does QUALITY WORK! 🎉 TIP: Never seen you do this so it works... when removing old burned in or rusty bolts try tightening them even just a tiny bit, works great to get the stubborn ones out. Old Man like me trick. 😊

Linguoer, if for some reason WD40 is not available in your area, you could use a 40:40:20 mix of Diesel, Gasoline and Castor Oil to help getting screws off. The big screw at the first minute would have come off a lot easier this way. Love your videos!

A little touch of primer wouldn't have gone astray, and a bit more attention to keeping seal surfaces free from scratches and dings aswell as dropping bolts on the ground will bugger threads

Your Videos are wonderful Linguoer. I would like to make two suggestions because we do spend a lot of time watching ou turn nuts and bolts manually. 1) Buy a battery operated high torque impact wrench 2) Buy a battery powered ratchet hopefully uses same battery These tools will make disassembly and assembly go much faster so you won't have to cut so much from your videos. one different suggestion; put grease on all of the bare steel parts of your lathe and cover with a tarp to keep the rain off. I think you have a drill press too? Treat the drill press the same way. I would like to see you do more machinist work. 3) Buy yourself some 6 mil extra thick Nitrile gloves, size extra small. Nitrile will protect your skin from gasoline and diesel. Love your work! So excellent 😊
