Today we open the new season of "Mysteries of Bulgaria" with an episode of the #nine #cave and the #staircase, which are two truly unique natural creations on our territory. 🇧🇬 We're going to dive into #facts and #legends about them and show you them through my lens. As the #devetaki #cave is protected, the video and rather the footage from inside was taken with a mobile phone. Fortunately, in Stalbitsa we were able to shoot with everything available. You know these episodes involve a lot of #finance and are getting more and more expensive to run. I hope you liked the footage and help make it more and more impressive. 😀 The first episode is entirely dedicated to #caves, which are emblematic of the #diversity of #bulgaria and its natural heritage.
In the "Mysteries of Bulgaria" episodes, The Clashers introduces you to beautiful, but also #mysterious places from our homeland and we experience them together. If you have decided to visit the two sites in the video, you will have to take into account the opening hours of the Nine Cave. The staircase has free access, but it is not so well ennobled! 🤨 The good thing is that Devetashka Cave is next to Krushun Waterfalls and can be combined with a walk there. The staircase is located a little further and you need to head to the village of Karpachevo to visit it.
One feels downright miniature when standing in front of the 30-meter vault of Devetashka cave. At the very beginning, you are greeted by a huge hall called the Altar, which is about 20 acres, and in places the ceiling already rises about 58 meters above our heads. The cathedral of St. can easily fit here. Alexander Nevsky. The volume of the hall is 643,000 cubic meters, which makes it the largest on the Balkan Peninsula and one of the largest in the world. However, attention is immediately drawn to the huge openings in the ceiling.
You should know that the Stair is in the ground and you actually have to go down it, not like most the entrance is in the mountain and you just walk in. The opening is 5-6 meters in diameter and rays creep through it when the sun is high. The cave is poorly developed, has no lighting and is not maintained. There is only one steep metal ladder, which is of questionable strength. Through it you go down into the hall, but you really have to be careful because it is often wet and slippery.
If you want to see something inside it, you better bring a flashlight because the light from the hole in the ceiling is not enough and the hall inside is quite big. The cave is semicircular with a diameter of 62 meters, and the height of the dome above varies. It is an abyssal Cave, and the name "Staircase" comes from the step-like development and collapse, as well as the wooden staircase that the locals left in the past. Now you can stay in the company of #theclashers, grab some #food and sit down with friends to watch the new video. Even if you have food in front of you, however, I'm sure you won't be able to take your eyes off the screen and the fabulous views it will reveal! I wish you a pleasant viewing of the Germans wanted to blow up this Bulgarian cave - Mysteries of Bulgaria s5 ep.1
