In Africa, whenever it comes too predators you NEED to have keen eyes. Spotting Lions or Leopards is really difficult if don't have good eyesight. For example: when Mahina looks out into the grasslands, he's checking for movement that isn't the wind. And he spots the Lion, but can't confirm it

It's the same when it comes to predators in the forest, and mountains of North America. Mountain lions can be just as dangerous as their bigger relatives in Africa. Being aware of your surroundings, and listening to what's going on around you is important too. One of the scariest things in the woods, is when everything. The insects, and little animals go completely silent, and you get that I'm being watched feeling. It's especially scary when it happens at night, a few yards from the light of your campfire, and there's no moon light.

In a 1999 interview with SFX magazine, director Stephen Hopkins described his experience making this movie as "a true nightmare". Michael Douglas, who was producing the film, decided at last minute to play Remington. But the working relationship between Douglas and Hopkins was very tense even before filming. Douglas had the movie completely re-cut in post production, removing 45 minutes to give him more screen time. It explains the plot holes and story lines that go nowhere. Hopkins was not happy with the final cut of the film. And Remember, Remington wasn't a real person in fact it was Patterson who killed both lions. This movie had great potential but it has serious plot holes and story lines that go nowhere. The comments calling it a masterpiece are funny.

When I saw this movie, I was afraid. But in real life, it would have been more terrifying when you find out they didn’t have a lion’s main on their necks. Could you believe 9’ long. I run into mountain lions while bow hunting and coming back at dust or after shooting hours. Like a bear, they would not hesitate. All I had then was my bow and my knife & mag flashlight.

Tsavo twins, but there's even worse than the tsavo twins, and is the champawat tigress or the real Shere Khan how i call her, she killed over 400 humans, that surprised me, he wasn't a fictional character, Shere Khan was real.

Actually this is not big deal including hunters like COL PATERSON and other British men overconfident unprepared with unloaded rifles. he was relying the information that circulated at THAT time. Which, as we now know, was often inaccurate. But it puts the movie into the historical time frame.

It's frightening but we must not forget how much wildlife us white British slaughtered for sport and money. Still goes on today , trophy hunting and lion numbers are struggling just like most other animals being wiped out by humans. Maybe it was some sort of revenge , I'd like to think so because there's nothing else to explain it. Now there's many humans, the planet is doomed. Val Kilmer is a great actor . 🦁🐶🐺🐻🐂🐃🐘🦏🦒🐅🦀🐡🐠🐞🐛🐾
