Welcome to The Ghosts of Ireland, Part 1. Today we look at the notorious Hellfire Club, Dublin with tales of Satanism, sacrifice and murder. Who haunts beautiful Foulksrath Castle, Summerhill in Dublin, Castle Donovan and Charles Fort in County Cork? Ireland has so many ghost stories that it would be impossible to cover them all in one video so this is likely to become a series. There may even be a Northern Ireland episode as Ireland's ghost stories are numerous.
As ever, I hope you enjoy these tales from beautiful Ireland. Feel free to leave a comment; have you ever experienced any ghostly events in Ireland or elsewhere? I’d love to hear from you 👻🙂
Thank you for your kind words and comments. They mean so much to me. Please feel free to Like and Subscribe.

Very entertaining as usual, many thanks. I visit Ireland regularly, mainly for fishing and the odd pint of the black stuff. I didn't realise we have stayed so close to some of the places you mention here. I must put my rods down and investigate. Again, brilliantly narrated, investigated and edited. As usual I'm looking forward to part two. Keep it up.

Hi Jaws, I might well cover Leap but I think it could be a video on its own or maybe alongside one or two other locations. Thank you for another intriguing batch of stories. The Hellfire Club sounds like a bunch of deprived men hellbent of defying every rule in the book because they were rich. He talked to me for five minutes when I was looking for jane Austin s grave. When he said have a good day. I turned around and he disappeared. No sound of foot steps. Or him. It was a shocker to me. But he was a friendly ghosts. Have a great weekend see you next video 😀 greetings from Canada

I live in Ireland, and when I was living in Galway city, many years ago, just about every flat was haunted. The one that was attatched to our work place: we would hear the big milk cans banging about in the night, and ask the storeroom lads, the next day, if they were disturbed. Nope. The flat I had by the old town walls had some long dead dude tramping up and down on his rounds, I assume, along the walls. Used to annoy me, getting woken up by a dead guy. The only scary ghost wasn't my experience, but a friend. There was a barbers in town, with flats overhead, which were always advertised as vacant. I thought, must be haunted, not in any serious thought, but a friend got a place there, and woke up to a man all in black, sitting by her bed, stroking her forehead. She ran! The hilarious part was when we went back with her, the n ext day, to get her stuff, the landlord complained about us spreading rumours, and also, we found, had hung holy pictures allover the walls, ha ha. That was years ago, and all of the buildings have changed use etc; I often wonder how the ghosts there are coping. By the way, I really enjoy your channel.

@@ghostcasebook1266 I’ve been living in my present apartment since August and there has been nothing unusual apart from my electric shaver cord disappearing two months ago. It’s not a big apartment and I have searched high and low but it’s nowhere to be found. I can’t imagine a burglar taking it and taking nothing else. Supernatural occurrences do run in my mothers side of the family, my grandfather was in training in the military in New York during WW2 when there was knocking on the door of his room which he shared with another soldier who also heard the knocking. He got up and answered the door and his mother was standing there and said “Goodbye”. The next morning he received a telegram from Ireland informing him that his elderly mother had passed away during the night. I used to listen to an American online show where people would phone in to describe their ghostly experiences and I started to hear odd noises and sometimes even things around my apartment at the time, would be in different places to where I know I left them. I did watch your video on the Ghosts of Bath today, after the whistling experience. I plan only watch your intriguing videos during the daylight hours from now on ☀️ it’s less nerve wracking that way 😅😅👻

major problem with the nothing more than myths about the so called Hellfire club-not one picture (painting) depicting the members or the locations actually matches any one of the so called locations such as the one in Ireland, The one in Ireland is clearly a retired mill of somekind not some lodge built by members to have orgies in. Lodges don't have industrial building tpe, Lodges don;t have iron star case railings, etc.
