I waited to watch this episode of KIPS because I wanted to give it my undivided attention. I was right! This was guuuudt! So many gems from Nona! Just to name a few: We end up comparing our reality to other’s fiction.” When someone is succeeding I see it as a receipt for me.” If God can trust you there’s no limit where he can’t take you.” Nona was amazing. Crystal thank you for sharing your transparency.

Finally...Some1...Nona spoke TRUTH about 4giveness. The person that does the damage MUST recognize the damage & prove remorse thru repentance & reformed behavior, otherwise the damage will be recurring & relationship permenantly severed.

The book The Body Keeps The Score talks about how we relive childhood trauma as adults until we are made aware through therapy, etc. That was so powerful when I read that. Love this podcast.

I randomly chose this episode, didn’t know who Nora was, so I listened to the intro. Immediately I started hearing “nope, this ain’t for you” “see, she talkin bout her mother, you have a few issues wit mom but none like that, you don’t need to hear this.” Then… my other self began to say, hmm 🤔 that Does sound a bit similar to your dad tho.” And what did it was the “just because you forgive them, doesn’t mean they should have access to you.” I said OOOP 😮, oh, the Holy Spirit knew what would keep me tuned in. And it, as always, was worth every second. THANK YOU 🙏🏾

Such a great interview…the pain in Crystal’s eyes when Nina spoke about the sexual abuse and the abuse she suffered at the hands of her mother was unbelievable…I was glad when they switched to something more uplifting

The question is often the answer… this is so true and when you have a niggling question about anything, it’s so important to bring it before the Lord in prayer and let Him speak to you directly. Crystal, the Holy Spirit will show you as you fellowship with Him.

Great episode! Nona , I loved you on the YouVersion Bible App when I was at my lowest 2 years ago because I felt the need to get closer to God! "Forgiveness doesn't mean access." Thanks for saying this I grew up with a Narcissistic father who happens to be a pastor he was verbally, physically, mentally/emotionally, and spiritually abusive! My mother never protected my sisters and I. She's still married to him. This past mother's day I'm grieving cutting off my mom's access.I've forgiven her, and I've accepted she'll never take accountability😢 God bless Y'all 🙌🏾

This was beautiful! I honor Nona’s integrity. She says things that are uncomfortable. Crystal’s genuineness shines through and I believe God is calling her to another level. I never looked at Fatima because of some of the explicit things but I loved this podcast.
