I am amazed at the simple way she did exactly putting up the same setup I am going too do this weekend with my solar panels. I will put fuses in line with the controller and the output though.

Always connect Solar Charge Controller first to battery than Solar, and while removing disconnect battery at last.

Very nice video. Good idea with the solar panel. If I were you, I would attach a thicker plastic / rubber tarpaulin under the solar panel and mount the solar panel on top. Secure the cables under the tarpaulin beforehand. It all makes sense in your weather. Greetings from Frankfurt.

Good task done .I had not in touch of Solar panel generate power supply for extremely long ,long time ago since it was extremely expensive ! I saw you setup the solar lightning system very easily .This shows a great improvement in technology and very Cheap, almost many people are affordable ? Good job done !

As an industrial electronics technician who worked at ZF Friedrichshafen i can assure you that your led acid battery is totally safe - because some uneducated fools in here commented that the battery would be dangerous. The problem is that youve put the solar panel directly on the roof. Heat can build up and burn it. Should be a small gap between the panel and the roof for cooling air flow. Was a bit scared about the angle of that ladder though. 😂
