The height adjustment surgery is where they can lengthen the bones in your shin and your thighs, and you can get up to 15.24cm in height. In the new procedure people are walking 2 days after the surgery. Though the devices in lengthens the bone over a few months.

Just a reminder for young short men out there that don’t know better. Don’t listen to the social programming that “taller is better”, “he’s blessed for being tall”, etc. Height doesn’t actually matter at all, unless it’s debilitating, which can be true for both extremely tall or short people. These are just preferences based on what people perceive as attractive based on what we as a society have programmed each other to believe. There are a plethora of reasons why being short is highly advantageous in many situations, including combat (which is the justification people who think they’re evolutionary psychologists usually claim). People don’t talk about it because most are too brainwashed to realize their biases. Woman (and men) are highly reactive to whatever is perceived as having more status therefore shaping their preferences.

Go to Asian or South America and see for yourself. Their culture has been shaped to where they value being tall much less than in North America, Europe and Africa. It’s so superficial and really something you’re only making worse for yourself and others by being insecure about it because people perceive confidence as status too. I encourage you to challenge the status quo and start appreciating your shortness for what it is: a blessing.
