There was a glee club at Greendale, and their bus was driving on a rainy night, and a downed power line was hanging across the road, and the bus drove through it, and it sliced through the bus and decapitated everyone, row by row, so that the people in the back had to watch all their friends get decapitated, then they got decapitated, and then the bus drove into a pool of lava. And I guess the crazy thing is, the electricity from the power line somehow kept their nervous systems 'alive,' so they could feel the lava. They didn't escape the pain of the lava just because they didn't have heads. They felt the lava. It was terrible but it was not metaphorical in any way. I would never be that petty and envious of another show's popularity."

3 cast members have actually passed away.

From what i understand, 3 cast members died, one from drug overdose while they were still filming, one was caught with child pornography and comitted suicide, nata rivera the most recent one also passed away. Lea michele is apparently a bitch and made everyone's life a living hell while filming. Also two of the cast members in later seasons got married in real life and got divorced because he was abusive. I don't remember if there's more but the cast is cursed

I find it hilarious that it implies Jeff researched the songs they were singing and which performance rights’ organization the artists were partnered with (ASCAP) just make sure they got shut down. And it’s totally on-brand that Greendale would have acquired zero performance licensing.

@@sws212 Yeah, both debuted in the fall of 2009, but while *Glee* became a pop cultural phenomenon, *Community* struggled in the ratings; it was always in danger of being canceled. Furthermore, *Glee* was Emmy-nominated multiple times throughout its six seasons (winning several awards) whereas *Community* struggled to be recognized by the TV Academy, earning only four nominations in six years. This is also why a lot of *Community* fans despised *Glee.* The term 'underrated' is often overused these days, but *Community* was indeed underrated as hell! I'm glad it is being rediscovered/reevaluated.
