Regarding the shot at 10 min, you made all the things to create a slice. Ball below feet, swing path out to in and open face at impact :)

Joe when you asked "what you were doing wrong"the ball was below your feet, so aim further left in that situation to find the target area you want

That was excellent, was like joe had been doing it for years, have to say it ,but i would say he has the best looking swing on the channel he’s a natural. definitely will get that handicap down very quickly.

Really fair to say Joe has been a huge asset behind the camera but the channel will improve by having him be one of the Golf Mates regulars too. It’s a no brainer. What a great episode!

Joe was fantastic! As a high handicapper it was great listening to him talk through his shots. In all honesty the last video I watched of Joe, I found it hard to watch as he came across a little cocky, but I could happily listen to him all day long! We deffo need to see more of him! Just a swing tip for Mr Bee. Tell him on his chipping, hes picking up the club with his tight hand on the takeaway which means he is hinging far too early. This results in a downward attack angle and loss of power / swing direction. Or as he would say a scoopy woopey. He needs to push the club away with his left arm before hinging and keeping his head down at impact would also help considerably. Good to see Joe getting some front of the camera airtime.

Joe is simply brilliant at his commentary throughout, as well as being a brilliant cameraman. We should see more of him so we can be part of his journey from a 28 to single figure handicapper.

Excellent job, Joe. For the last hole, you didn’t do anything wrong. Your backswing was perfect, your head was still and your follow through was spot on. Unfortunately we all toe it from time to time even when we have done everything right. Ignore it and move on son.

Great video. Joe was brilliant on talking through what his plans were on every swing and getting Mr B to do the same. I love the banter Mr B dishes out on his videos but it was nice to see how great he was with an inexperienced golfer alongside him

Brilliant! Joe is a natural in front of the camera and the chemistry between the two of these gents is awesome. That chip in on the last hole was a sight to behold Joe. So (I'm no 'expert') but (Joe) you push it right and also tend to slice... most slice avoidance is strong grip and avoid coming over the top. Starting the ball in an unintended direction is often a difference in shoulder alignment to feet alignment. You align your feet with intended direction of strike but your shoulders (and hence swing) are pointing somewhere else... Just some food for thought.

Joe, I think you were simply aimed a little right on that shot at 10:00. It looked like your practice swings were aimed right too so not sure you had picked out a super specific target you were aiming for instead of thinking about just trying to get it up there somewhere. If you think about distance more than about hitting a specific target nice and easy, there's a tendency to swing harder with the arms which can take you out of your natural rhythm and might cause you to want to see where the ball went earlier than you normally would. When you just concentrate on a nice an easy swing, you usually won't see the ball until it's well up in the sky and away. If you see the ball shortly after hitting, that might be a sign you were anxious to see where the ball went too soon which could mean you didn't quite finish your swing all the way before looking. I'd focus on the finish through position during your practice swings making sure you end up facing where you want and then think "nice and easy does it" during the actually swing. If you practice the finish position during the practice swings, your body will remember to go there again after the real shot. Cheers! (PS: This was a very refreshing video!)

Nice playing Joe, it looks like you were manning the camera as well as commentating as well as playing. And you look a lot better than a 28 handicap. Great video. And I might add that's the nicest I've ever seen Mr. Barlow be in a competition. But then you are his #1 fan. Good stuff 👍
