ABOUT THE GOOD PLACE
From Michael Schur, executive producer of "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" and "Parks and Recreation," comes a smart, unique new comedy that follows Eleanor Shellstrop (Kristen Bell, "House of Lies," "Veronica Mars"), an ordinary woman who, through an extraordinary string of events, enters the afterlife where she comes to realize that she hasn't been a very good person. With the help of her wise afterlife mentor (Ted Danson, "Bored to Death," "Cheers"), she's determined to shed her old way of living and discover the awesome (or at least the pretty good) person within.

I love how Jameela Jamil is dressed like Tahani while everyone else is wearing whatever they want. That means she just dresses like that when she gets a chance (which may or may not be every day like for someone like her)

Everyone goes at their own pace! No one is better or worse for it. Just know what you want and don't pressure anyone or let anyone pressure you. It's better to wait than to do something you're not sure about, but there's no shame in moving forward either

i teach English i told my students to watch this show because it is something that you can tell a 12 years old to watch. the storyline is amazing, it's super funny and they can learn so much bout...ETHICS! love it..

I'm not a native speaker and I can understand most of the words that all the characters were saying in the show, even without subtitle or when I wasn't paying full attention to the screen. So yeah, I would say it is a pretty good show for students learning English!
