Mr Amrik Pahwa is one of the most remarkable and magnanimous personalities I have come across. His knowledge about the political and economic situation about state of Manipur is immense. Having been ax Ex Commissioner in the Municipal Corporation of Imphal, he has dedicated his youth and continues to serve his country as an esteemed advisor with his 50 year experience and sharp skills and intelligence. The conflict tension between kukis and meitei tribes is solved and understood only by the local legendary people like you Sir in particular and other legendary personalities of Manipur land in general who are well versed with the crux of problem. A Committee consisting of these prestigious Manipur legends under the Chairmanship of Sardar Amrik Singh Pahwa is required to be formed who look into the burning issues of Manipur main land by introducing some amendments in the Scheduled Tribe Act according to the socio- economic profile of the tribes so as to ensure equitable distribution. To get access into the govt. machinary through electoral process would be the effective tool to fight against the negetive forces enable to get back the normalcy in the State of Manipur and Manipuri people.
