So this being the 3rd Grayl video I’ve seen in the last week or so is this something we could see in a future box ?

I would pre-filter with one of those natural material bucket method (they layer cheesecloth,gravel, charcoal,sand and run the water through) and then I would boil it. Especially now with what's coming out about berkey filters (Robert Beaty channel has 3 part ongoing series lab testing berkey and Project Farm channel results weren't good for berkey either).I would check if Project Farm tested this product and if they haven't,ask them to.

Yeah right you can't press these down with a 2 ton jack after a few uses! Buy a Sawyer and never have to replace the filter

Should have shown the amount of dirt which got thrown out

You shouldnt be putting water with loads of dirt in it through the filter, youll immediately clog it. Always pre filter with a milbank bag or something similar before putting it through your grayl

@@neonishh2363 buy multiple filters they have a shelf life of about 10 years unopened and when used have about 3 years shelf life. You can keep using the filter until it no longer can be pushed down which is an easy indicator on when to change filters

Is it normal for the press to have some water that doesn’t get filtered left in the bottom?
@TheRowls3 ай бұрын
This is not the ultrapress, it' the geopress. The ultrapress doesn't have the cap.

You can make a simple water filter but you need all of these to be clean Sand, dirt, rubber band or any kind of string thats durable and make it tight, rocks, cloth and a bucket On the bucket put the cloth ove the bucket and use the string to make it tight then put the rock/s on top of the cloth and on that put the dirt and sand and if you can get coal aswell
@saipai81142 жыл бұрын
Why do all that when you can buy this lol

I know this filters out a lot. But is the water source you're pulling from (the stream) already potable water. Can this make water potable or would I need to boil after filtering?
@beardedmisanthrope9274 Жыл бұрын
No need to boil. It doesn’t just filter the water it purifies it as well.
