This would have been a draw if Dave had sacced his bishop for the pawn and taken the opposition before his clock ran out. But because when his clock hit zero both pawns were still on the board I'd have to say it's a loss on time

Brooklyn Dave does me a favor, tell Carlini to stop running away or avoiding State Sue or Sue State whateverver she is called

Sue shows up very sporadically. I'll definitely try to set her up with a game with Carlini next time they're both here.

I am not that great at chess, but at one point did not Carlini have a check that would have taken Dave's Bishop? Its at the point in the game when Dave had 1:45 on the clock.....Queen to H1 I believe....would that have worked?

@@userac-xpg what? You don’t need an eval bar to see that move. It was fairly obvious. In fact, I was stunned he missed it twice.

Maybe somebody should put that in the Urban Dictionary? Along with "Getting Dave'd," no doubt.( There is something called getting daved on Urban Dictionary, but it refers to something like an older brother beating a younger brother). We all know the truth!😅

I know I'm not the best player, but at 5:05 couldn't someone sack a bishop for two pawns? Would that not be a great way to create a passed pawn?
@CrazyLinguiniLegs
@CrazyLinguiniLegs 2 ай бұрын
Nah, you don’t give up that piece like that. That pawn still has a long way to go and that black queen has a lot of space to maneuver, throw in checks, pick off some of the other pawns, and it will be a hassle trying to protect that pawn with your queen all the way. Maybe if the king was better protected, but here that queen will keep chasing him around and you won’t be able to promote that pawn.
