Filled with humor and controversy, The Great Cheesesteak Debate was selected to be in the RIT's School of Film and Animation Honor's Show. Watch it and find out why...
Produced with the generous help of the inquisitive Deseon L. Eggleston and Matt Sitkoff. Shot on DVcam on the streets of Philadelphia, PA between the hours of 11am-4am.

from Philly...hate Geno's and Pat's...too chewy and the meat is suspicious...I was born here and I like corner store cheese steaks and Jim's steaks on South Street...if you don't mind waiting.

Chubby's is the best in Philly, Dalessandro's a close 2nd. John's Roast pork has a mean cheesesteak also. Jim's, Pat's & Geno's are for TOURISTS who want to get ripped off $9 for a bread sandwich.

few people realize you dont sell the steak you sell the sizzle...I'm sure part of going is just going and see all the characters...late night at AU everyone went to the Waffle House, yeah to get a bite but the atmosphere was electric and people sang stupid drunk songs like a mini Octoberfest

I live in Philly and it's not pat's or genos mines are dallasendros. Max's steaks. Cleavers. And Jim's and I take provolone or American cheese the other is too runny and watery and runs me to the bathroom but those are my picks.

I ate both in Aug of 2017. Pat's meat & favor are better but Geno's bread is slightly better. If I have to choose, Pat's is it. Geno opened because they saw so much business over Pat's so they want a piece of the pie. Geno's meat was like leather, tough because it was thick and cook in high heat. The favor is not as good as Pat's for sure.

Gino's steaks mother and father right across street where he has his motorcycles they had a store over there and make a steak sandwiches then he moved right across the street I lived in Philly all my life and around that area they both serve ribeye steak I wouldn't say nothing about the both steakhouses it is a toss up between the both of them Pat's steaks and Gino's steaks 🥩🥩🥩🥩

Montreal has the best cheesesteaks and restaurants in the whole ^&*&^%^, world. We have the best Pizza's, the best Hot-Dogs, Hamburgers etc,... better than any restaurant in the USA.
