The annual invasive species cook-off in Corvallis, Oregon challenges everyday people to turn invasive plants and animals into tasty dishes like Cajun-fried American bullfrog legs, dandelion-thistle spanakopita and red swamp crayfish salad.

Carp are easy to catch and are very good eating. Descale, de-head and score the fish or cut fillets. Remove the vein that runs along the spine if you want to cook a whole fish. Then soak the fish in vinegar for at least 12 hours. This removes the mud taste from the flesh, as carp are bottom feeders. Then make a delicious curry, or fishcakes, or bake a whole fish with garlic and fresh veggies, with a marinade of good red wine. There are some pretty good recipes for carp and other invasive fish species on KZfaq.

Adult Burmese pythons in Florida can't really be eaten due to high mercury levels. Young pythons, however, you can eat.

So you telling me where overfishing our oceans but we can't eat our way out of invasive species. They just haven't came across the right marketing tactics Market it as a delicacy or rich people food or a "superfood"

Wow American finally find out they could eat the hell of them up? Chinese have been deal with couples of them. Crawfish, Bullfrog, Tilapia, nothing can't Chinese eat. Ofc, Including bat lmao
