There are many scenic drives across Australia, but the Great Ocean Road brings you in awe after every curve.
Join us while we explore this 240 kilometers stretch of rugged beauty along the south-west coast of Victoria.
In this video, we'll explore one of the world’s most scenic coastal drives and camp our way through The Great Ocean Road.
We'll share a full three day Great Ocean Road itinerary. We'll visit beautiful coastal towns, feast on local Fish & Chips, explore lush rainforest, hike to misty waterfalls in the Great Otway National Park, visit the famous 12 apostles, will be surrounded by lots of native wildlife, we'll go off the beaten track and most of all, we'll enjoy the most scenic Great Ocean Road Drives.
We're sharing the best stops on The Great Ocean Road, guide you through a few campgrounds along the way and name lots of things to do on The Great Ocean Road that will inspire you to explore this incredible place yourself.

Jamieson River Campground:

Only 10 minutes from the coastal town Lorne, you'll find 24 campsites at Jamieson Creek Campground. Campsites 10-19 have no direct vehicle access and are suitable for tents only. Sites 4 and 7 are suitable for caravans, while all remaining campsites cater to tents, camper trailers and campervans. The sites that we liked the most were 20-24.

Blanket Bay Campground contains 22 unpowered campsites. All campsites are suitable for tents, in some site you can fit a camper trailer, campervan or small recreational vehicle. Note that Blanket Bay Campground is unsuitable for caravans.

Thanks Barry! Appreciate it 🙏🏼 We were a bit disappointed with the colour grading 😅 I feel that it’s a bit too dark on a TV screen? Every TV shows the colours different. Did you notice anything? Thanks for the feedback 🙏🏼

Hi guys, I’m no expert and didn’t notice anything too dramatic with colour grading towards black. I watch your videos on my TV (75” screen with 8K resolution) and the colours seem fairly accurate to me. However, I do understand what you’re saying. Throughout your video’s entire 28 minutes there is footage where colours may look a bit less vibrant, perhaps even a bit washed out, but I really think this is largely due to: (1) lower light intensity (overcast cloudy conditions etc), and (2) a fair amount of sea spray or ocean mist in the coastal air in that location. I just assumed this to be the case, and these two elements may have caused some light diffusion. Where there are clear and distinct shadows in your footage (ie more sunshine, greater light intensity) the colours seem to be more saturated, bright and lively (much like your happy smiles and sparkling faces!) After a quick flick through your Intro I noted the following segments to try to illustrate what I mean (sorry for being so tedious…🥹💤): 4s - driving under GOR sign -> colours seem a bit more washed out; 11s - Yellow Road Sign “🦘🦘 NEXT 10 km” -> vibrant; 17s - arms raised walking through tree ferns -> vibrant; 23s - tree fern foliage under Redwoods -> vibrant; 28s - London Bridge -> vibrant; 30s-32s - epic drone footage of coastline (near 12 Apostles?) and surfing (at Lorne?) -> vibrant; 34s - driving through dead eucalypts -> vibrant.
