Thanks Barry! Appreciate it 🙏🏼 We were a bit disappointed with the colour grading 😅 I feel that it’s a bit too dark on a TV screen? Every TV shows the colours different. Did you notice anything? Thanks for the feedback 🙏🏼
@barryricketts12 ай бұрын
Hi guys, I’m no expert and didn’t notice anything too dramatic with colour grading towards black. I watch your videos on my TV (75” screen with 8K resolution) and the colours seem fairly accurate to me. However, I do understand what you’re saying. Throughout your video’s entire 28 minutes there is footage where colours may look a bit less vibrant, perhaps even a bit washed out, but I really think this is largely due to: (1) lower light intensity (overcast cloudy conditions etc), and (2) a fair amount of sea spray or ocean mist in the coastal air in that location. I just assumed this to be the case, and these two elements may have caused some light diffusion. Where there are clear and distinct shadows in your footage (ie more sunshine, greater light intensity) the colours seem to be more saturated, bright and lively (much like your happy smiles and sparkling faces!) After a quick flick through your Intro I noted the following segments to try to illustrate what I mean (sorry for being so tedious…🥹💤): 4s - driving under GOR sign -> colours seem a bit more washed out; 11s - Yellow Road Sign “🦘🦘 NEXT 10 km” -> vibrant; 17s - arms raised walking through tree ferns -> vibrant; 23s - tree fern foliage under Redwoods -> vibrant; 28s - London Bridge -> vibrant; 30s-32s - epic drone footage of coastline (near 12 Apostles?) and surfing (at Lorne?) -> vibrant; 34s - driving through dead eucalypts -> vibrant. Loving your content! You guys are living the dream! Thank you 🙏

Sensational! So much to love about Bruny Island - your video makes me want to pack up and head to Bruny right now! Amazing footage, editing and info. You include SO much useful information and it’s so beautifully packaged! Interesting, colourful, great mix of camera types and perspectives, shots constantly changing (piques my curiosity/interest/anticipation) - so engaging. You’re also a wonderful couple with such a chilled and positive vibe - makes me feel good to see such happiness. I’m also interested in your thoughts on: - the hammock and beach towels, - the ground mats - which brand? - your tyres - how well do they drive on sealed roads and how do you find their wear/durability? They look like great tyres for off road! Again, thank you for your wonderful video! I think, perhaps, Bruny Island is the best representation of Bush and Bay imaginable! 😍👌🙏👏👏👏

THANKS! For the feedback 🙏🏼 comments like this mean a lot to us and keeps us going, especially when just starting! Answers to your questions: - Nakie hammock (sooo good) - Toyo, open country tyres, and honestly they are the absolute best, have them now for 72.000km and still some thread left and absolutely perfect for normal roads as well. Just rotate and balance them every 15k and you’ll love them! - Our floormat is from Cgear and the small green one from Muk Mat Thanks again! 🙏🏼 Wim & Sam

@@bushandbay thanks for your answers to my questions, you seem to have researched and planned well with everything (gear included) so it’s great learning for viewers like me! Love the idea of a hammock - compact but so nice to relax with - and that’s really what it’s all about. Glad to hear the Toyo’s have performed well on all terrain and surfaces. Cgear sound great too. And seriously, your videos are really really good! The best! 🙏🙏🙏

Hey guys, great video We have a jeep wrangler as well and looking at getting a patriot camper, I was wondering how the jeep tows the trailer on the beach trips and what's the fuel consumption like when towing? Thanks
@bushandbay4 ай бұрын
Thanks guys! You won’t even notice you are towing a trailer 😇 No issues on the beach and we’ve done heaps beach camping. Our average consumption is around 17L 😅 but that’s with 35’s and the trailer and lots of off-road stuff. On the highway average consumption is around 12L. All in all really happy with everything but fuel is a big one for us. Enjoy your set up and camping trips mate! You’ll love it. 🤩

Absolutely excellent photography! Love all your shots, how well things flow. Of course, it helps that you are in such a picturesque area, which offers an abundance of things to do, as camping under the stars to the sound of rhythmic crashing waves, beautiful walks and general sight seeing, not to mention the gorgeous array of marine life. My own family love this area as well, though we really enjoyed watching your clip. Lovely setup with your 4wd and trailer, everything so neat, and giving you everything you could need. Good on you, and wishing you well on your continued travels. Perhaps for something different, our Queensland outback offers its own beauty as well, lots of high quality free camping where councils and other vested groups provide excellent free camping sites additionally. Out back, offers the spectacular river systems set against the red hues of of sand and sunsets. These areas were also once frequented by dinosaurs, and there are some excellent displays of these. We certainly anyway live in a beautiful part of the world, and easily the quality of your presentation could serve to promote tourism in a professional sense. Cheers and safe travels!
