It's like she literally tells you the very real truth of what happens inside you emotionally, that you can verify for yourself by looking at it. Emotions and even spiritual emotions, have a very real interactions between one-another. She literally goes in there, and tells about all of these "interactions". That have a reality in our everyday world, and the way we approach life. So in other words it is far MORE than just "isn't this an interesting way to look at this idea," and instead described the entire interaction of the matter, for you feel inside yourself and have a look at. And always so balanced too, combining and showing us way through the paradoxes from a higher level.

To me, happiness comes from the feeling of moving forward toward a desired goal. Once I achieve the goal, it's onto whatever is next, which brings more happiness. This gives me the sense that I have agency in my life, and that I am a divine being who is contributing to the evolution of the universe.

Finally someone is addressing this ancient seeming contradiction. Whole generations grew up in one or the other, angry gurus teaching non-desire seemed so off to me, but so did whispy floaty surrender gurus, and you'd have to separate from society to deeply follow either one! This video is not only an integration of both concepts, but also integrates that ancient spirituality into modern life! Our world needs more getting along, we had enough division! I believe because of pre-destiny we don't get to make the choice to be anything other than what we are and what we are meant to be. Every thought, word, moment, and everything else is already written we just follow along living the life we were always meant to. So even though we don't actually have free will to choose what our life will ultimately become or be at any point during our lifetime, we do get to experience the human experience even though I'm sure we're spiritual in nature. Life is beautiful, be grateful for it all good and bad experiences because it's what's necessary to keep propelling our universal story of us. Peace and Love fellow Spirits.

”Let’s look at desire on a more metaphysical level. When you desire something, that desire is the emotional indication that you have given birth to an improved idea. That improved idea holds a frequency. And your non-physical point of perspective now matches that new frequency the minute you desire it. So now, there is a gap between the frequency your temporal self holds, and the frequency your non-physical Consciousness holds. There is a vibrational gap between you and what you want. If you think a Thought that feels negative, it is because that Thought has a vibration, which separates you further from your non-physical Consciousness and therefore your desire. If you think a Thought that feels positive, it is because that Thought has a vibration, which is closer to the vibration of your non-physical Consciousness and therefore your desire. So, there are two ways to close this gap between the you that you call by your name and your non-physical Consciousness; between you and your desire. The first is to think Thoughts and take actions that line you up vibrationally with it. This is the practice of conscious creation or manifestation. And the second is to release resistance to and appreciate the now. This is the practice of letting go, surrendering and appreciating what is. If you do that, your non-physical self joins you where you are. There is no gap between you and your non-physical Consciousness and therefore, negative emotion does not arise within you”. Teal Swan. Finally a video that puts together the apparently two most conflicting ideas about spirituality. It's a really complicated subject though, because sometimes releasing resistence to the present moment can lead you to clearer and purer desires and other times following your desires could get you to releasing resistence in the present moment. At the same time forcing yourself to accept the present moment could make you an emotional dormat and other times following your desires could make you a crazy neurotic miserable anxious obsessed nutcase. And of course sometimes releasing resistence to the present moment can free you and following your desires can empower you. So i'd say that each thing has it's own place and timing but of course that's much more easier said than done... It's not that easy to know what's the best time for each thing... maybe it's a matter of trial and error and patience and perhaps also intuition to the best of your ability? LMAO
