Join me for a look at the life and crimes of Victor Lustig, the greatest conman who ever lived. Throughout his illustrious 57-year con artist career, Victor managed to sell the Eiffel Tower, trick people into buying a money-cloning box, steal from a bank, defraud the government by forging money, and escape federal prison. The only thing he couldn't get away with was cheating on his mistress. But scamming people was Victor Lustig's only pastime, so you can't blame the man for trying.

There is a variation of the Romanian box around today , where people buy currency stained with ink, and if they buy a rare and expensive chemical they can remove the ink and the money is theirs.
