The Green Arrow was my favorite hero out of the entire CW. I’m gonna miss him

When I think back to the first episode and the intensity that Quentin’s hatred was for Oliver, and seeing how he now pays tribute to him, forgiven him, and honors him, it shows how far everybody has come in the last eight years. And he’s right; the fact that Oliver started as a self-centered, arrogant privileged brat, then reforged himself over time as a man concerned with the welfare of others even if it meant putting his own life on the line... That’s extremely honorable and inspirational. The statue is a magnificent tribute. Symbolically he will always be standing over star city, watching over them as a hero should.

He lost many friends along his journey, but gained some along the way. He inspired so many and made the ultimate sacrifice to saves not only his city but the multiverse. He died a true hero. OLIVER QUEEN, YOU HAVE NOT FAILED THIS CITY, YOU HAVE SAVED IT. This was and still is an amazing show. Thank you Stephen Amell for bringing the green arrow to life.

The fact that its Quentin giving the speech just speaks to the amount of respect he has for him. Nobody hated Oliver more then him not even Slade on mirakuru. Just speaks volumes to the amount of change that took place in Oliver to make a man see past all the bad he once did towards his daughters and city as a young spoiled rich kid.

It's ironic how we had funerals for most of these characters throughout the series and now in the final episode of the final season, it's basically the exact opposite.

Rewatched all 8 seasons few weeks back. This show was truly amazing. Rewatching over had me realize certain parts that led to season 8 of how much oliver has changed. Knowing that in the end he would give up his life to save his city..his family...his friend...and this universe is very heartbreaking to see it end for oliver queen aka green arrow aka Stephen Amell. This clip alone shows all that and that music hit me hard in the last 10 secs I tear up. I know it's a show but damn it has a impact on me. Bravo!

This show gets me choked up REAL good. Dialogue, performance, and writing is phenomenal. People may have had some issues with the show here and there, but it was pretty much a wild success in my opinion. I loved the journey and development of the characters. Nothing is 100% perfect, but this show is infinitely more competent than what The Flash turned into, and unlike The Flash, the entirety of Arrow can be considered a classic. Only a portion of The Flash's run could even be called that. Arrow as a show is relatable in so many ways to what we face in our lives and overcoming that.

I will miss arrow. The green arrow has always been my favourite hero in DCU since. Justin Hartley in smallville. A spoiled Brat who only cared about himself completely transformed through pain, suffering and survival into a hero. He has no powers only his will to do better. I hope they leave it here and not try to reboot it in the future. Stephen is the green arrow the same as Tom welling is smallville. He did what he had to for his own mental health and his family. When an actor struggles with seprating their character from their own identity that just shows how good they are.

R.I.P Oliver Queen YOU HAVE SAVED THIS CITY. I think that when the other heroes meet their end, they should have statues in their cities or have Green Arrow, Flash, Supergirl, Superman, Batwoman, Black Lightning, and Legends of Tomorrow statues in front of the Hall of Justice.

If you ever think that you can never change, that its impossible for redemption. Just look at Oliver Queen. From spoiled rich boy who didn't care about anyone other than himself to the hero of Star City who would gladly sacrifice himself to save the ones he loves. A man that proves that no matter what you have done in your past, there is always a chance for redemption.

Damn, I've watched many of these clips a bunch of times, and I just realize that some of the strangers in attendance are wearing GREEN HOODIES!💚. How did I not notice that before???😣 And BTW, everytime I watch an Oliver is dead/dying clip I cry again, it never fails. Stephen has achieved something incredible taking on this character 💚🏹.
