@@BOBNAR96 Van Williams became very good friends with Bruce Lee from their time on the Green Hornet. Mr. Williams came to realize very early on that most people tuned in to see Bruce Lee and as such tried to pressure the writers to include Mr. Lee in more of the storylines.

"Flight of The Bumblebee" is a Great Tune! I've said it before and I will say it again....I wish that The Green Hornet series had lasted a few more years! That "Green Hornet Movie simply SUCKED!!! Why Hollywood created all of those Batman movies and left out The Green Hornet is just INSANE!!! This is a DC Crime Fighting Duo that SHOULD HAVE BEEN better represented on The Big Screen!!! I saw the "New" Batman movie and I was so unimpressed, I was asleep by the end of the first 24 minutes! And was that thing supposed to be a Batmobile?!!? More like a "RatMobile" to me!!!

He said that his friendship with Bruce Lee was forged by their experiences in making the Green Hornet and what they went through together

the action is too fast at 23:04, but i think the sliding bars are opened as with a hinge after britt fries the lock. i had to look back to see where the desk warren placed the bomb was as compared to the one he jumped under as it came time for the explosion. at first i thought he’d gone where the explosive was, but then recalled that that desk was inside the vault! a near escape for frank, which turned into a disaster for his opponent. frank’s realization of the essential quality of this election at 17:24 is classic!

Hornet wants them to think that. First he finds out who the criminal mastermind is but doesn't have proof. Then he busts in on his "suspect" as another criminal to partner up, usually demanding something outrageous. The criminal mastermind agrees at the time because he has no choice, but later betrays the Green Hornet. The expected betrayal triggers the war Green Hornet actually wants and always wins.

This discussion has come up on the Green Hornet fan pages on Facebook. The different parties which own this franchise cannot come to agreements about a DVD/Blu-ray release. With the 50th anniversary past and last surviving cast member Van Williams now deceased, hope has all but faded out. I bit the bullet and got a bootleg DVD that was sold on eBay. It is the episodes posted here, apparently recorded from TV. IMHO it is best to have a hard copy as KZfaq might for some reason take these episodes down at any time. They are a bit better if you have a Blu-ray player that plays DVD with enhancements. At least we can have a few scenes of GH and Kato on Blu-ray in the Batman crossover.
