I missed watching this episode of the Green Hornet when I was a kid,I'm glad its here and I watch it in full color,thanks for uploading.

Ian Wolfe, who played Peter Willman in this, would 1 or 2 years later go on to play Mr. Atoz in Star Trek's ''All Our Yesterdays,'' which was 1 of it's best episodes.

Because the Dozier connection, most people would associate The Green Hornet with the Batman series' camp, when it's actually a lot closer to the Silver Age Batman comics. Unfortunately, it was Batman that got the big ratings in its first season and ABC's support, while the more mature Green Hornet suffered from ABC's cheapjack ways and they dumped it after only one season.

The main flaw of the series was its running time was too short. A story like "Alias The Scarf" deserves an hour, giving greater time to develop the character portrayed so brilliantly by John Carradine.

Trivia } John Carradine & Ian Wolfe who plays his business partner in the wax museum both appeared in the film "The Invisible Man's Revenge"(1944). John Carradine also portrayed an evil black clad figure in "House of Frankenstein"(1944),& "House of Dracula"(1945)as Count Dracula. Ian Wolfe was on The Lone Ranger episode "Six Gun's Legacy."TLR is an ancestor of TGH. The young woman who sees the Scarf on the street,screams & runs away is actress Brenda Benet. Brenda was married to actor Paul Peterson(The Donna Reed Show)& later to Bill Bixby(My Favorite Martian & The Incredible Hulk).

If you look closely, you may notice that Ian Woolf's assistant is played by Paul Gleason of "The Breakfast Club".

That was still an excellent show such talented people It’s sad all are gone now!

The sheer loathing Rancourt displays for the Green Hornet & Kato when he looks at the poster of them at his museum is great. He hates that they have replaced the legendary Scarf.

Nice dark episode. Instead of fighting gangsters or super villains, he went after a much darker character. Ultimately, the killer is a deranged old man. Nice twist.

When you can pull John Carridine to be on the show, I think that says somethinhg

With all these stars in this episode, not many comment that Paul Gleason has a small part here too.

If that episode seemed too short, it is because the idiot t.v. executives wouldn't listen to suggestions from actors Van Williams and Bruce Lee to extend the Green Hornet episodes by thirty minutes. (Rolling eyes)

Trivia } John Carradine's character on TGH:ATS mentions Bluebeard. Carradine played that very part in the 1944 movie Bluebeard.

Kato has a unique way of opening doors.

In case anyone was wondering, at 21:49 John Carradine's character refers to himself as a "Boswell to his Johnson". This reference is to James Boswell's biography 'The Life of Samuel Johnson'.

John's arthritis was starting to show it self in his hands at this time.

Trivia: John Carradine (the scarf) also played Aaron from the Ten Commandments with Charlton Heston and Yul Brynner.

I'm wondering how much influence Lee had w/ behind the scene stuff. I mean in this ep. Kato mentions the Oriental culture, he used nunchucks, and the ep. the night of the lotus was great w/ Asian culture.

At 16:59 when Vina tells the Hornet that the Scarf treated her like a queen, it appears the scene went on longer but was edited.

In the into they say who knows the Green Hornet’s true identity… and Kato isn’t listed 🤣 “I’ve been working with this guy for years…. Still don’t know his last name 😅” “He always just sorta showed up”

The scene at 14:14 between The Green Hornet and Hazel Schmidt is almost comedic. I love this scene! At 14:12 ~ HAZEL SCHMIDT ~ "And then he'd start to talk ( begins to laugh). I tell you, he could just talk your arm right off the shoulder." THE GREEN HORNET ~ "About completely ruthless murders." At 16:32 ~ HAZEL SCHMIDT ~ "He said he was going away 'cause he was gonna be immortal so people would never forget him. That's what he wanted, he said."

They said Bruce Lee was so fast, the directors wld ask him to slow his moves but he cldnt, so can you believe it, all his moves are in slow motion. Imagine in real speed. We lost a real legend too early ❤

The Green Hornet & Kato wax figures in the museum are accurate from the clothing they wear, as well as the Hornet Sting & Kato's dart. Wonder if they knew about the Hornet Gas Gun?

The green hornet television show was a lot better than the batman television show and the acting was 100 percent better than the batman television show.if there was a green hornet television show now.who does anybody think would be the green hornet.and who would be Kato?

The Scarf attacked the Green Hornet and not Kato I wonder why???? Lol!!!! I really wanted to see how Kato was going to deal with the Scarf's attack. Unfortunately, It was not in the script. At 22:42 the Scarf eyes Kato and has second thoughts!!!! Lol!!!

I liked this episode, different.

Rancourt tells the reporters at his museum that the Scarf ceased murdering people twenty years ago and hasn't been heard of sense then. I thought serial killers such as the Scarf were compelled to kill and couldn't stop themselves. Generally, when a serial killer stops killing it is due to (1.) being captured, (2.) imprisoned for another crime, or in a mental institution, (3.) leaving the state where they performed the murders.

At 22:54 can anyone tell me what is that in Kato's left hand???? Is it some sort of martial arts weapon???? It looks like a butterfly knife. (I could be wrong.) Considering that the Scarf was a known serial killer, Kato was not taking any chances. If the Scarf somehow managed to get his scarf around Kato's neck Kato would use the butterfly knife to cut the Scarf's weapon. Now the Scarf would have to fight Kato without any weapons ... And we know Kato would beat the tar out of the Scarf!!!!!

Fun,creepy episode. Why didn't Rancourt ever show any reactions from being shot by the police officer? Later in the episode after being wounded we see him at the Daily Sentinel in Britt's office and he shows no indication of having been shot.

Anyone else feel a little sorry for Rancore or is it just me?

The Scarf to me was the only Green Hornet Villain that was equal to Batman's colorful villains!!!!! However, the fight vs the Scarf was too short!!!! I wanted Green Hornet and Kato land several blows to the Scarf. Several punches and lots of kicks landed solidly just like when Batman and Robin fight their opponents!!!! The fight was very disappointing!!!!
