Wow, what a grueling set! That momentum swing towards the end was volatile, but WaDi definitely has more experience clutching out wins so it’s no foul on MJ’s part. Both players had a great game. Noticed WaDi chase a lot of platform landings with jump confusion rather than an Uair to keep juggling- is it just because the confusion leads to more consistent Fairs? He missed several confusions when the Uair would hit so it seemed like he was fishing.

Isn't WaDi sponsored by PG? so why doesn't it say PG | WADI? does anyone know

Bro, WaDi is king, I don't think I could ever come close to be as good at him, but he really has trouble landing those shadow balls. I know you use them often for pressure, but he legit struggled landing most of them. Other than that, amazing. Really good to see someone winning with a Mewtwo main.

ngl but Wadi could have played this much better. He didn't adapt to MJ's mash whatsoever. Still gotta work on his combo game with M2 too. Comes to show that he really doesn't practice combos, which would have been useful. But yeah in the end he won going solely M2 which makes me proud as a M2 main.

I honestly don't get the Mewtwo swap. Wadi was famous as one of the best ROBs in the world, and now that ROB is generally seen as high/top tier, he swaps to a low tier that doesn't play that similarly?

I hate rob so much. Props to Wadi.

Wadi’s gameplay would be so much better if he just stopped approaching with nair all the time- it gets so easily beat out for a reason (if you want to approach with it, there also needs to be a shadowball going or else you’ll easily get outranged/anti-aired/OOS punished).
