The thing I love about that gen is that they truly and deeply love each other no matter what, unlike the second one which contained lots of tensions between characters.

To be fair everyone hated each other’s guts in the first season of this gen. And in gen 2 everyone was mostly friendly with each other in the start until effy and others started fucking things up.

Literally! In Gen 2, the characters were always arguing and fighting but in this Gen, the characters are all friendly and loyal to one another. It’s so refreshing.

I agree. Gen 3's friendship felt genuine and they all had a real connection. As soon as Mini apologised to Franky, Grace, Rich and Alo, they all loved each other and had each others backs. Gen 2 never got to that level until later on.

Definitely wasn’t the best imo, but definitely secured a pretty decent season finale though, something that Skins fans had been looking for since the very first generation came around.

It literally contained loads of character development and not only do we see how Grace’s death affected everyone, but we get an excellent ending with this Gen where we know what happens with all of the characters in the end. Definitely one of the best.

As much as I love Gen 1 and 2, this was the best season. A lot of character development, the best and more respectful and truthful handling of death and grief out of all the seasons, an ending that actually resolved every storyline, great music (as always), interesting and fun side characters, a good addition to the group (Alex), extremely memorable moments, fantastic writing, great acting and great quotes. I love this Gen, it's so underrated. The only thing I would've wanted was an episode about Matty, he was oddly distant from this Gen despite being a "main character"... but maybe that would've worked better in season 5...

I love the group hug. Remember the first time they did it and it was so awkward, with Rich even touching others, now they're all comfortable and happy doing it.
