Knowing rockstar and their attention to detail I like to imagine that the in-game social media will have procedurally generated content relevant to actions you perform for example if you started going on a rampage the npcs would pull out their phones, record it and then post it on the games version of tiktok with a caption like "There's a psychopath on a killing spree at [Current Location]"

Living in Miami, I absolutely love how pinpoint accurate it really is, especially with the 7 Mile Bridge going to the Keys, it’s actually beautiful if it all goes to the game with no changes. Perfection ❤️🙏🏻 I’m praying for more good news from R*, they will be back on top of the game if they listen and actually do a good job.

As a Miami resident, I cannot even begin to describe to you how amazing a job they did. I recognized buildings and areas from just half a glimpse of them in the trailer. Even our police departments are accurately represented.

So to the people who were mad at Rockstar for making the Trilogy and RDR 1 port. Now they are just kneeling down on their knees and forgive rockstar because of GTA 6. NPCs these days can’t think clearly and just hate for no reason. They say “L Rockstar” and “Rockstar never fails to disappoint” and “greedy as always”. But now because of GTA 6 they are like “Rockstar never fails to deliver” or “W Rockstar” or “Rockstar isn’t greedy”. It is a good thing Rockstar ignore these stupid people because those stupid people will change their mind again and again.

⁠@@SpokeNyan1390It’s a little thing called ‘nuance’. Rockstar have been greedy with online shark cards and will again with the online for VI. Rockstar dropped the ball massively when outsourcing the trilogy to GS Games, L. Rockstar released one of the biggest games ever in 2013 called GTA V which broke multiple sales records that still have not been beaten. Rockstar done us proud both graphically and narrative wise with RDR2. So can you now see why people are super excited for this game or nah?

I'm blown away by the physics, especially hair. The NPCs look so good too and they seem to have their own personality (from their outfit). Wildlife looks vibrant and water looks wet. They even got social media feed too! Imagine doom scrolling on GTA VI phone.

I was hoping for better lighting like what cyberpunk has for pathtracing but then again that's experimental tech. I do wonder if gta6 will have ray tracing at all or if it's just gonna be full raster. Console performance would get axed if it was forced rtx, and the overall player base would riot if the difference between console and PC graphics with rtx was ankle breakingly big. Oh well, just gotta wait for the tech demo trailer. Also the online trailer. Probably gonna just skip the story and go straight to online if it's a launch thing

@@trevorveillette8415 GTA V on PS5 and Xbox Series X has ray-tracing. That feature has not come to the PC version funnily enough. I'm willing to bet that it was basically a test case for GTA VI. It will at least have a ray-traced mode.

I’m so hyped for this now. The only thing I’m worried about is the lack of Dan Houser and Laslow in the writers chairs. I like the concept of a Bonnie and Clyde GTA story (it sounds really nice to have a true ally in a world where everyone is constantly betraying each other), I just hope the new writers pull it off well.

The people at GTA have already said they are adding current day politics into the game. An ESG score into it. It's gonna be a trash fire of a story if the game isn't just completely bugged. People seam to forget home much. Rockstar only cares about money. No dlc for their latest game. No serious updates. Plus, trash fire remasters wouldn't hold your breath. The guys who put love and care into their games are gone.

The game is set in the current day so everything from the politics to the culture and trends represented in the game will obviously be a reflection of how these things manifest in the current day. The GTA trilogy remasters weren’t made by the developers at Rockstar so that’s no indication of the quality of GTA VI either. The last game that Rockstar themselves made was Red Dead Redemption 2, a game that was highly critically acclaimed and is widely considered to be one of the most detailed and polished open world games to ever have been released.

something to really apreciate is the apparent size of the map, just looking at the first shot up in the air from the beach, the city alone looks huge. Something to hope for is realistic car speeds, not 90mph max speeds.

Even as a little kid GTA was always my favorite game, it wasn't about story or gameplay, just the idea of being a guy in a fully explorable city was mindblowing to me (so ig any GTA clone would've impressed me too) but watching the series grow and finally seeing what'll be the best itteration of that game, for the time being, looks like feels unreal

I strongly doubt this will be the "best iteration" of the franchise. Everyone has their pink-rose glasses on, whereas I am just seeing a slew of bad Tik Tok trends, political messaging being forced down the player's throats, and a straight up betrayal of GTA's entire premise where there are no limits to who they'll offend. Now they're dedicated to creating a "safe space" for their community, because as we all know the number one priority for Rockstar is to make sure their entire 1% of fans don't get offended. It's ridiculous.

As great as it looks, it'll look better by the time it comes out. More refined with smoother framerates. Can't wait to see more locations. One of my biggest questions is campaign length. I'm hoping for it to be 50+ hours.

the more i watch it the more impressed i am... the graphical fidelity is about what i would expect as an improvement from rdr2 (which was already S tier). but what really stands out is the level of detail and density of the environments. just look at any frame of the city shots.

I do wish they could have added a bit more of 80's Asthethics, but it does look pretty good. I do also want that they make both characters have a intersting background and really entretiement personalities and that they dont go to the whole, Female trope and Male trope that we have recently in this couple of years.
