Great video! In future videos, could you edit in your club selection and approximate yardage on each hole? I think it would be really neat to see what club choices you make. Especially around the green

My first time on a golf holiday was also here. There were 3 courses at the time; pinhal, old course and Laguna. Now I believe there are 5 courses, and Portugal open is also here. But my first experience was that it was great grass on the fairways, it seemed like the ball was always on a TEE. 👍👍👍

Good to know Pete is human and reacts like the rest of us on a missed short putt! First time I've caught anything like that in your vlogs. No complaints from me, makes it real.

OK, Rick, I've been defending the Portugal gimmes, but then I saw what you did at 7:15 and had to stop the vlog and post this before watching the rest. Confidence comes from overcoming pressure, not yielding to it. Now, back to the vlog...

Ooh, the ending was awkward. It proves why some viewers want putts holed and others are ok with gimmes. Can't wait for Pete's 1st tee shot in the next part. :)

Great vlog,great course👍 I'm all for gimmes when its like a tap in but anything over 12" you should be putting out really⛳ I do appreciate that you need to get moving around the course so no hate here.

If you guys wanna gimme gimme, go ahead and do it! What's the phrase..."not playing for the town hall clock"? To be fair, IMO the 2 putts in question should have been played, but I'd rather see someone hole a great putt to win than miss a 4 footer to lose. I also wasn't offended by the F bomb (which I rewinded to hear before you mentioned it). Great vid Rick, I do enjoy watching you two play, also I have great memories of Pinhal. Is that the one that goes past the halfway house like 5times? I recommend the Bock if it is!

Pete : wind makes no difference to spin. How high the ball climbs or gets knocked down is due to lift n drag. Just thought I'd say as don't want viewers getting confused

If being a complete knob is part of your cunning plan it is working well. Gimme Gimme when you are in trouble then refusing request from far shorter distance and giggling when missed, I think your lucky he is your mate.

Play strokeplay and stop the gimmes'. How do expect to get to the Open if you don't practice making putts under competitive conditions no matter how "friendly" the match?

You guys are playing for right to play the "Open" it would be massive to have even one of you make main qualifying, We both know the gulf in difference between club Pros and tour Pros, I think you guys can do it, I guess its going to be down to finding enough time to practice the negative thoughts out of your systems because there is always enough talent there eh??
