He conquered the athletics world clinching 2 Olympic gold medals, 8 world championship victories & 27 world records in his 20-year career. But after retiring in 2015, Olympic legend Haile Gebreselassie embarked on a new race of building his multi-billion-dollar business empire in real estate, agriculture education and hotel industry. And as Waihiga Mwaura tells us his daughter Eden Gebreselassie recently joined her father in what we can only describe in this report as scaling the ‘Haile Heights. ‘

Big up!!! was happy to have worked for Haile Hotels & Resorts, I wish our kenya business owners would learn on how to manage business without family interference. as the food and beverage director, we achieved more, Haile sets targets, goals and objectives, he rewards performance, compared to sycophancy. great moments at Hawassa!!

He is my all time best sportsmen, a true legend & patriot! i always say he is one of few to ask "what my country provided me" since he did his own homework in a most tangible way! Respect to the one and the only Haile Gebreselassie! aka "His Long Distance Highness the Conqueror of track and Field/Marathon "

Could Haile consider opening a coaching and mentorship consortium for the region's athletes? That way many would learn to handle success, and plan their post championship days. Just a thought.
